First impressions were very good. Very friendly staff from the front desk to the vet himself. The vet gave some very good advice on puppies with practical info on where to go for other various local services. Recommended pet insurance for our puppy but wasn't trying to sell or push a particular insurer. Went on a recommendation from a friend & will happily return.

Have taken my cat there a few times including for surgery. The result from surgery was good and my cat has seemed generally happier since, and the price was reasonable. Rob is always helpful with my questions and I'm happy I found a trustworthy vet.

Excellent vet. Dr Rob is very enthusiastic and has excellent knowledge about dogs. My dog Hunter enjoys his visit. The team replies to my messages with any questions I have or if i need anything. The pricing is very good and quite competitive. Will be back again. Thank you

I have been taking my 2 rottweilers to Dr Rob for at least 6 years he is very compassionate and caring my dogs luv going there staff is very friendly.  I wouldn't trust anyone else with my babies. Harley and Bane luv going there.

I was bringing foster cats here for care before adopting my two fails. The care has always been high quality, whether it’s routine visits or urgent surgery. I trust Dr Rob and his team with my fur kids implicitly, and know they’ll never take advantage financially. They do great work for charities too.

Last year my cat was diagnosed with IBD and was suffering extreme ups and downs. It was all a new experience for me and when he was showing new symptoms on a Sunday I was extremely stressed after being up with him all night. My regular vet was closed - Dr Rob answered my phone call after hours on a Sunday morning which he absolutely didn’t have to do, was extremely kind and patient with me as I’m sure I was a frazzled mess. Despite me not being a regular client he managed to squeeze me in for an appointment, he was so gentle and caring with my cat and gave expert advice. It is clear the people working here are true animal lovers, those who complain about prices seem to forget that veterinary treatment is not subsidised by the government like Medicare, and unfortunately these services are not free. Thankfully vets like Dr Rob exist and are the reason my cat is alive and happy today. Thanks East Ivanhoe Vet Team

I have been going to Rob for about two years with my dog, Charlie. He is a lovely vet with a calm manner. All the vet nurses I have met have also been great and I normally find parking directly out the front. I had a negative experience with a previous dog at an emergency vet in the North where they botched a simple surgery 3x in a row so previously had some anxieties about vets. Despite this I trust Rob 100% and wish I had taken my previous dogs to him.

I can not recommend East Ivanhoe Vets and their nurses enough.  I first came across Dr Rob and the staff here 10 months ago, when my barely 3 month old sausage dog Rupert was rushed in for an emergency visit, due to another vets mistake diagnosis which almost cost him his life.  Within 15 minutes of Ruperts arrival he was treated and cared for with respect, and I was spoken to in a way that made me feel like I 100% understood the situation and next steps. Rupert had major surgery which saved his life, and spent 2 days with Rob and his staff, and I am still forever grateful to them.  Since then, Rupert has been in and out of appointments with Rob for some stomach issues, and no matter how big or small my worries have been, or no matter what time of day I call, my concerns have always been listened to and acknowledged, which I find to be a super rare trait in vet clinics these days.  If your pet is in need of medical help, I could not recommend the staff here enough. I know whenever Rupert is in need, he is in the best hands possible, and he will be treated with respect and given lots of cuddles.  Thank you to the team at East Ivanhoe Vets for treating my boy with such love and care.
