A massive shout out to Cheryl from ISHKA Traralgon for all your help and brilliant customer service regarding an online purchase I made through ISHKA Clayton. After waiting well over a month now for confirmation to pick up my order, I attempted numerous times to contact Clayton to find out what was going on but no response. Cheryl, thank you for going above and beyond for me.
An exotic shopping experience in the middle of Traralgon. The perfect place to find that special gift or just to spoil yourself. Items ranging from furniture, clothing, jewelry, books, candles, home decor to handcarved statues. All sourced from Asia and Africa. Very friendly staff.
Great little store filled to bursting with quirky items you won't find in Kmart. Even just window shopping after hours , we found great little decorative items for our home.
Have never been treated so badly as a customer until my experience with a particular team member at Ishka Traralgon! Prior to arriving at the store, I called to see if they were open as it was Labour Day here in Vic. The woman on the phone replied really rudely “um yes” as if it was obvious and that it was a stupid question. I then asked what time and she was short again replying just “4”. The line just ended and I assumed she ended the call for some odd reason. We arrived at the store and found the rug we wished to purchase. We brought it up to the counter and she said to us “would have been nice if you folded it up for me”. I offered to do it for her but she scoffed at me and rolled her eyes. I asked if there was an issue and she said no. We had another look around and heard her blatantly speaking about us to her co worker. We felt extremely uncomfortable and decided to not keep looking or purchase anything else except the rug. We drove an hour there and were really looking forward to it as we had recently moved to the area from Sydney and was looking forward to getting a few things for our new house. I believe the woman I spoke to on the phone and the woman who was rude to us in store was the same person. She had dreadlocks and was roughly aged late 40s early 50s. Her co worker was quite helpful and we had no issue with the young woman.
My experience with Ishka has been bad. I made an order two weeks ago and my order still hasn't been sent. I have emailed numerous times and nobody will tell me when my order will be sent. I rang the support line and was on hold for half an hour before I gave up. I asked if I could cancel my order or get a refund and was refused. Who can I talk to about my order? Nobody will help me. This is the worst customer service I've ever had.
Really lovely kind and helpful staff. Didn't feel rushed even when there were other people in the store.
My all time favourite store. Always feel welcomed there. The staff are always friendly. Hard for me not to go back!
Wonderful help from very nice, patient and knowledgeable staff. Fine deals on fantastic furniture, odds and stuff. Ishka is a solid store!
Love this place so much! Would recommend highly! The lady was very lovely, helped me with the things we brought! I would go again
