My friends and I tried this arcade place in Albert Street. Purchase a card so you can swipe the balance on the game that you want to play. They have a promo, you can play an hour, 2hours or 3hours. Pay attention to the swipe card box to check the colors. We tried the $26aud for 2hours: unlimited yellow and green games plus 2 bonus for purple and red games. The purchased unlimited games to play comes with corresponding tickets, so take note of that since you can replace them with toys. On our case, we had the ping-pong set. We used one card for the FOUR of us, but I suggest that buy another one to maximise the time. Games are alright, especially if you want to go back in time, reminisce the times when you are young. Like play basketball, racecar, dancefloor and bowling. escaping from the reality and bringing the kid in you is an absolute bliss. I suggest to play during Weekends on a dead-time before 5:30pm, otherwise the area will be crowded.
They have an excellently calibrated In The Groove machine as well as a new DDRA machine Wonder if they'll upgrade the software to A20 when it comes out?. As a Pump It Up main, the fact that they chose DDRA instead of PIUXX was a bit sad to me, but since it was even connected to eAmusement services, I'll approve of it.
they’ve got baskin-robbins here. the lemon ice cream is so good y’all. and do it in the waffle cone. yummmmmmm.
This place is OK, but as of late 2019 it is really in need of an update. Removing some of the less interactive games and replacing with more action-based multiplayer options would be a good start. There are currently better alternatives available just outside of the city, and parking is less of an issue at these too.
Half the machines don't work correctly or grotesquely overcharge you. Not much you can do about it either as the staff are seemingly absent until you're spending cash. Needs some serious work if it wants to be a decent stop for you or your family.
There is standard star fair here with plenty of experiences for all ages. They even have a Japanese photobooth for those feeling inclined to be insta-worthy. Skill based ticket games are a plenty with the tickets being stored on smart cards. This venue is conveniently located in the heart of the city and has an ice-cream shop attached to it. This place is good fun for all ages.
What a SCAM! Several machines didn't work, screens were glitchy and games such as the basketball shooter rigged the total scores so we got no tickets. Some games were not intuitive to play at all and little instruction provided.
A few of the good multi-player games have been removed and replaced with non-entertaining gambling games like wheel of fortune, deal or no deal and others where you pay lots for a spin. Cost vs gameplay is non-existent. You find yourself playing these gambling for ticket games out of boredom due to lack of actual games to play.
As a student, I still manage to have hours of fun here with the addition of friendly staff members most in the gaming community. There are two DDR machines, one running 'Simply Love' for an extremely low price, which have many supportive regulars who are great to know. DDR A gives you 2 credits for 1 swipe, whilst many regular arcades only support one credit a swipe. I have played for 5+ hours, still leaving spare cash on my card. It is difficult to fail the game completely, boosting your confidence and experience for new and old players. iPlay also offers a wall full of current Wangan games that hold a competitive community alongside competitions. If you aren't into that stuff, there are a boatload of great novelty fun for children and workmates to enjoy. Tickets are enjoyable and fun to win, with surprisingly high-quality prizes. iPlay also offers Tekken and the Wizard of Oz coin pusher. If you ever happen to find yourself around Albert Street with your friends or family, I highly recommend that you pop into iPlay.
The Baskin & Robins ice cream is great. The menu prices are a bit strip club and brothelonomics orientated. $7.70 two scoops: seven deadly sins, and the average number of customers a lady can take in one day or one shift. $5.00 on the leg for the garter. Did the owner indulge himself? The was a teenager playing a giant key piano game near me. A bit like the dance on the squares that light up to teach you hip hop. But I coicould make out what tune it was playing. The smartmouth double word meaning emphasis from the food service should have her fired.
