Really nice fish and chips. It's not often I can say I am happy with everything we order. Usually chips good and the rest not so great or vice versa but I can honestly say today ours was ALL good. Chips crunchy fish fresh with crunchy batter potato cakes crunchy and dim sims I'm pretty sure we're homemade and delicious right across the road from a great kids playground with plenty of shade and picnic tables
Food was OK, pretty standard fish and chips, long waits and overheard them giving much shorter wait times to people than actual wait times. Both inside and outside the store had such a bad smell two very distinct smells that we had to take our food to the park to even eat it though. Would try elsewhere if we went back.Food: 3/5
Burger was really nice, the patty was juicy, tasty and fresh. Chips were very well cooked and salted. Potato cakes were a little thick but really well cooked and salted. Also generous got 2 extra potato cakes.
Very unorganized. Huge wait. Ordered at the same time as friends so we could eat in the park together and got order 40 minutes later than my friends got theirs. When I asked how long to go I was told 3 more minutes but it took 15 more minutes. No apology when the food was finally handed to me even. I felt sorry for the young girl taking the orders who was made out to be the cause when the mistakes had nothing to do with her. I watched atleast 4 others complain about not having their fish with their order. 2 pieces of Grilled fish was beautiful hot and fresh and the rest of the order which was the majority of the food was cold and soggy. Edit. still blaming the girl taking the orders even though I told you in my review the mistake had nothing to do with her.
Most likely another fish and chip by the water that gives us frozen fish. Ordered the flake, was thin and overcooked. Tough and tasteless. Also ordered the flathead, overcooked, very disappointing.
The burger was very underwhelming due to the fact that the employee waited so long to serve it despite it being ready, waste of my time. Do not recommend instead go to the inlet for better customer service and all around better food.
Flake tasted very nice... part of our order had potato cakes... they didn't give them to us... paid for but not there...Food: 4/5

Best chicken schnitzel burger I’ve ever had!! Amazing and great value! I will be coming back to this shop on every visit to Inverloch!
Your classic Aussie fish and chips place for better or worse!. If you're going for battered fish, chips, potato cakes etc then this should work well. Anything else such as grilled fish, you might be disappointed. - Large serve of well salted chips - Chicken schnitzel burger was dry and plain - Grilled fish is best avoided
