I received a renewal quote from this company in April for insurance on my small rental house for $365.00 through Safeco, the same company I've used for years. Then in mid-June, I received paperwork from a different company they'd signed me up with effective June 1 for $595.00. I received no communication about this prior - I obviously would have not agreed! Intouch does NOT act in the best interests of their clients. I've reported them to the CA Department of Insurance and have decided to buy direct rather than use a broker only concerned with their own commissions. When I was able to speak with someone from Intouch, they told me it was an "accident" and they didn't mean to switch me over without authorization. So they're either A incompetent or B fraudulently switching policies for commissions to benefit themselves rather than choosing policies in the interests of their clients. There are many other insurance brokers out there. Keep looking.
