Nice little place. I popped in without an appointment and the girl was lovely. Not sure how I feel about paying up front, not because I don't trust them, just because I would have been more likely to add more services if I hadn't already paid. All in all though, a nice salon and my eyebrows look great! Thank you!
Will never go there again.. Unfortunately i had to cancel the appointment due to unexpected work extension which is very close to my appointment time. Lady on the phone i belive she is the owner is soo rude when I politely called her to cancel the appointment. She is not satisfied even after saying sorry multiple times.. may be mistake is on my side but she cant talk to me like that or to anyone.. Its been 2 days and still the tone she spoke to me is ringing in my ears. Also get to know from others when sharing my bad experiences she shows difference btwn people who look groomed and who are not..
I definitely wouldn't recommend this beauty chain based on my recent experience. The shop is filthy, no clean towels and the towel I was given had a massive hole in it! The bathroom is deemed out of order, I hate to guess the reasoning for this. NO warm or hot water. The room I was taken to, had dirty equipment and lights not working - the whole interior is shabby - I have never seen a beauty spa/shop like it - they clearly do not care about their clients well-being. Surely, these businesses must adhere to some health and safety standards.
I booked in for 1pm. Arrived and there was no booking for 1 pm. The one staff member asked me to have a seat. She was eating lunch. Then 2 other women came in and asked for waxing. After next customer initially being told 1 hr wait, both got to cut in front of me. I had ready been sitting for 40 minutes at this stage. I've had to leave. Will not be using this salon again, zero communication.Service: Eyelash extensions
My two teenage daughters and myself often visit for our eyebrow threading and have done so for many years. The service we have found is outstanding and the ladies are always friendly. We like the late opening hours which suits us perfectly. I’d definitely recommend this salon for threading.
So it's so hard for me to trust beauty salons to do my eyebrows after I had been disappointed from the last one I've been to since they made me not want to do my eyebrows ever again...but I had to get them done so thankfully a friend recommended me this salon...I gotta say it was great, the women who did my eyebrows was awesome she did them how I wanted it and she even kept asking me if I was okay that it wasnt painful and she even checked to see if how she was doing my brows was good. Great service and professional work. This salon made me gain my trust back again and I'll be sure to come back at the glamour beauty salon aspley!! And such an affordable price as well.
Instyle Glamour does a great job with threading. recently I went to get a hair cut. They did a terrible job. I just needed to layers and my hair is not straight. it looks terrible. They take your payment first and then do the cutting. I had a feeling the girl Akanksha who cut my hair wasn't experienced enough, the way she hold the scissors. She's very young and I didn't have the heart to be rude to her. Also, she cut my hair first and did the washing later. I have never seen this in my life. I even asked the girl, aren't you going to wash first?. It's not even cheap..... they charged $80 and did a shocking job. She styled my hair with curls, so I won't notice my uneven hair cut. I usually don't do reviews, but I had to....... please don't get your hair cut at this place. Now, I won't even go to this place to get my threading done......... very disappointing.
When you arrive here don’t expect to be greeted unless you’ve booked an appointment. If you don’t mind waiting a little while for good results then come here. They only ever have one girl on, as I believe there are many other salons in the Brisbane area. Again possibly another if there’s appointments I don’t believe in paying more than $15 for eyebrow threading.. I’ve been to many threading places in the north Brisbane area, Toombul $15 Nundah farmers markets $10 but I’ve found I keep coming back here.. The eyebrow shape is consistent and if the girl isn’t rushed, they do a beautiful job. Today I’m trying their tinting
Wonderful experience last night! I have been visiting Glamour beauty Salon for eight years now and last nights experience blew me away! The girls were amazing Manisha and Raman. My facial was extremely relaxing and I am going back for my hair today. Yes! That’s how good it was.
Whilst the eyebrow threading was satisfactory, there was noone in the shop, service was ridiculously slow, I was co-erced into a discounted facial and massage by a trainee - which meant I was slathered in a face mask and left alone for 30 minutes whilst the staff finished their lunch! I returned to work an hour late with grit on my face. I can understand why the shop was empty. Won't be coming back.
