Absolutely love this place!! We dined in today, it was insanely hehe busy! Staff were absolutely incredible, regardless of the stress I’m sure they were under, they were all very welcoming, friendly and attentive. Food and coffee was amazing and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience! Thank you for creating a beautiful atmosphere, serving outstanding food and being beautiful humans!
Arrived on a very busy Sunday and joined a long queue. It was worth the wait! Food was wonderful - nourishing, tasty and nicely presented. Being a glutard who doesn’t eat meat, I was delighted with the options. Despite the crowds, the woman who took our order was patient, warm & friendly. In fact, every interaction with the staff was wonderful. I had the feeling, the whole team really loved their work. I felt like I was in a top Sydney cafe. A great experience all round!
We are frequent travellers along the Bruce Highway and hadn’t found a place to fuel our hunger until we stumbled on this place. Hands down the best roadside cafe between Gladstone and Gympie, this is a urban industrial feel fit out, with bits of old machinery and electrical lead wheels turned into tables, without the place feeling cheap. There is an outdoor and indoor seating area making the place quite large. The food was sensational, not the most affordable, but awesome and generous serving sizes. Great coffee too! Perhaps allow a bit of time for your meals. I’d highly recommend this place for any kind of dining experience.
If you're in Childers you won't find better than here, in fact you won't find better between Brisbane and Cairns. The coffee is strong and well made, sidebar I had to leave the cafe for another matter during which they brought out my coffee. When I got back, less than 10 minutes, they came over and replaced my coffee as they were concerned it wouldn't be good. This is the second time I've been and both times I've had the roast vegetable Turkish bread sandwich. It is unbelievably good, I don't think I've had better. Today I also got a gluten free double chocolate brownie to take home for my wife. It was rich, moist and delicious, with real chocolate on top. This is s great place, lovely service and great food. Going forward this is going to be our place to stop on the trip north.... And back South again
What a great little spot ! They have amazing garden seating and the entire place inside & out has the most eclectic atmosphere. They have a delicious variety of sweet treats and a menu too. I didn’t love the flavour of my iced dirty chia but the espresso itself is nice.Recommended dishesCakes
I think this will become our favorite coffee stop when travelling through Childers. The coffee is great and so many special treats to choose from, with gluten free options. They even have real cream.
I fell in love with this place. The staff were friendly. A decent cuppa coffee which is just what you need when travelling on the road and tasty food. My son apprentice chef and I were really impressed with the food flavours. The cafe full of character was warm and welcoming. They seemed short staffed. I suppose its hard to get staff in a small rural town. So for city slickers, be patient, its worth the wait.
Really good experience the ambiance is amazing, the food excellent and good varieties of tea. I took an Italian croissant that tasted like the french ones, a friend took the golden smash potatoes and it was incredible ! Will come back for sureFood: 5/5
This is such a cool coffee shop in Childers! Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area - they have fantastic espresso coffee and a great space. The food looked excellent but we had already eaten. Highly recommend!
Fantastic looking quirky cafe. Very nice robust coffee and an amazing salted caramel cake. Will try to use every time I travel back from Gladstone as there were so many cakes to choose from. I also managed to add an extra button to my trousers at my table, they think of everything
