After a long time, we came to Indo Rasa. The food was great, and the service was good too. Price reasonable. Overall, good . We will be back again soon.Food: 4/5
Food is generally ok. But the wait times are horrendous. Sure if you have a spare hour to watch an episode of a tv show it’s fine while waiting but don’t expect your food to come out any quicker. To top it all off, when we got home we discovered we were served infant portion size! What world is this portion size acceptable for a full paying customer? Will never come back to this place. The writing is on the wall, it’s a matter of time before they shut down due to lack of customers caused by poor service.
In this day and age, any business who thinks they can survive on their laurels from pre-pandemic success has to re-think 1. Customer waiting when the business is not busy but having 1 person running the floor just frustrates customers. Solution: ordering automatic!! 2. Turning off aircon, opening front door on a 30 degree day & high humidity doesn’t cut it, saving electricity to annoy customers! 3. Gado Gado is not difficult to make, has to be refreshing with fresh ingredients and thick peanut sauce, not watered down and tasteless 3. Ordered Es Cendol and get told 15mins later, “sorry sold out” what BS, better be honest to say we don’t have this available today. I don’t buy sold out excuse Instead ordered Es Teler and had taste of durian which annoyed me further Needless to say, my lunch experience was not how I remembered Info Rasa to be.
Indo Rasa used to be one of my favorite Indonesian restaurants. However, the quality has degraded so much. First off, no one really attentively noticed when a customer entered. It used to be a table service but I guess they have changed now? I went to the register and ordered. When I asked for water for the table, I was told to grab the water and mugs by myself. I guess everything is self service now? We ordered 2 mie ayam bakso. The mie ayam came one by one. First came one mie ayam, then we waited for the other one to come. Then the meatballs came, we waited some more and the other meatballs came. I don’t understand why the meatballs and noodles couldn’t come at the same time when it’s supposed to be noodles with meatballs? The turn off point was when we ate the meatballs. They smelled funny, tasted kind of sour and were really mushy. I’ve eaten plenty of meatballs growing up in Indonesia, Indonesian bakso to be specific, and none of them tasted this way. I told the waiter that the bakso tasted off and he said, “Is it basi spoiled?” He then asked if we wanted to get new ones but the 4 meatballs we received were all off, so what are the chances of the new ones being spoiled still? Really disappointed with our experience.
Went for lunch on a Monday. It was nice to go while empty. Food is great when you dine in. The lady owner is nice. But the gentleman waiter - he is awkward and straight forward lol Dude this is a restaurant and customer service is key!
Appearance of food is OK. Yet flavours from the food is a bit bland, shall be more appealing if stronger flavours.
Amaaaaaaazing Indonesian food!!! So good!! We walked in at 9.28pm and they were kind enough to accommodate us they close at 9.30pm. Food was quick and service was friendly. Will be back. Thank you
Came here after my sisters graduation. They ladies serving us were amazingly friendly and happy so it was a very good atmosphere. Smiles and filled tummy all around. It was my first time eating indo so not sure what to compare it with, each dish was flavoursome and delicious in its own way. Of course we loved the desserts the most with some tea.
Service has been bad agreed with other reviews, which i think its a pity. Food is good but waiting time issue which i can tolerate. Yesterday is the issue, thats why i changed the review from 5 to 2. We went at 12.20pm and they still mop/on the phone and didnt let us go in/told us to come back. Returned at 12.30pm and still mopping/hesitate to let us sit and finally said you sit at the front. Waiting there to be served and looks like no one cares. They went to the kitchen and just stay there. We left and go to other restaurant that want to serve us. Ps: your open time is 11am might want to put the right time there? From an Indonesian, i can say that my craving pretty satisfied.. love their fried rice, ayam goreng and sayur asam plus love the indo snacks
my friend says, this place is run by authentic Indonesian aunties... so expect that. Atmosphere: Busy and noisy, much like a packed Asian restaurant! gives that authentic Asian feel. Food: Delicious! Service: May experience some delays during peak times perhaps, food does take some time to arrive... but if you're patient and not in a rush it's not a problem. It's authentic Indonesian remember! the staff were very friendly with my Indonesian friend, so they seem like a great friendly bunch! Extras: my friends rave about this place and they are Indonesian. I've tried it myself and, yes... good food !!
