Ordered takeaway from here. Flavour of dishes was good, butter chicken was slightly sweet. Small amount of meat chicken & beef in dishes was disgusting. I know it’s post COVID, cost of living crisis and all that but if I’m going to spend my hard dollars in your restaurant, don’t rip me off. Wouldn’t order from this restaurant again.
A big thank you to Chef Rajiv and the team at Indian Pantry for the absolutely delicious food and warm hospitality! Every dish was bursting with flavor and prepared to perfection. Chef Rajiv’s attention to detail and passion for authentic Indian cuisine truly shines through.nnThe service was exceptional, making the entire dining experience unforgettable. I highly recommend Indian Pantry to anyone looking for incredible food and a welcoming atmosphere. Thanks again, Chef Rajiv!
Update: While previously providing a solid 4-star review 3 years ago, things have clearly declined. Taking reviews like this seriously, it took hours to decide on whether it's a 2 or 3 star review.nThe takeaway last night consisted of 4 curries. Due to the very little meat within the curries, we played a fantastic family game, where you try to find the meat amongst the large amounts of sauce, and if successful the family will applaud and award you one point. For the butter chicken the most we could score was 4-5 points.nThe meat curries had so little meat that it could be classified vegetarian.nn3years ago-nThe Indian pantry is a delight to both the nose and the tastebuds. Water glasses were pleasing to the touch with great mouth feel. The wine bucket was able to comfortably fit the Chardonnay with adequate ice supplied. Plates were of perfect temperature, shape, colour, and quantity.nThe service was beyond expectations with all three pieces of cutlery provided.nFood and staff were also excellent.nWe will be back.
Great food, friendly service, comfortable ambience. Food is more to North Indian style hence not spicy for me. Their naan breads were delicious, chicken tikka bohti pieces succulent and tender.nnAs per covid requirements, contact details are required.nnClean and neat, reasonable prices, sufficient servings.nnOnly one drawback: the lamb in the briyani was a bit dry and chewy. Every other dish was delicious. We will try chicken briyani next time.
Previously, I would have given 5 stars. We’ve eaten there and had takeaway several times over the years. Last night our takeaway was very disappointing for the meat eaters. The veggie cutlets, onion bhaji, samosas and aloo gobi were spot on. However, the butter chicken and beef vindaloo were watery and had only 4 or 5 small pieces of meat. I regret not taking photos of them to show the public. This meal cost us over $100 which we’d normally wouldn’t complain about if it wasn’t for the sub optimal meat. If increased meat prices are the issue, increase prices to cover the costs and serve acceptable portions. You’ll continue to lose loyal customers if you don’t change the meat dishes.
