Amazing service and amazing food! We walked in late looking for somewhere to have a nice meal, we were trying our luck if their kitchen was still open as everywhere else in town was closing. They stayed open for us and we found out later they stayed open an extra hour! And they didn't make us feel like we were imposing on their time. The food we ordered was all amazing and we highly recommend. We will be going there again in future for sure! Vegetarian options: I noticed they had a lot of vegetarian options and we had a vege korma that was very good.
A group of us, went for dinner. We had to wait a bit long for our orders, but the wait was worth it. To be fair, it was early on a Tuesday night, and only one guy serving, seating, and taking phone calls/orders. He was pleasent and helpful the whole time, and the food was delicious.Food: 5/5
First time coming in tonight and what a delicious meal! Absolutely loving the flavours in my lamb korma and the butter chicken was tasty also, beautiful fresh naan and a generous sized samosa, we will definitely be back again! Thank you so much!
We go to the Indian Kohinoor quite often because the curries are very tasty and they have a kids' menu with chicken nuggets and chips on it to keep the kids happy. The service is friendly but, as others have mentioned, the food is very slow to come out. The usual wait is 45-60 minutes for main courses. Also, sometimes the kids' meals will come out 20 minutes before the curries, which means the kids have finished eating and are getting fidgety while grown-ups are trying to eat.
The food was tasty. However the service was shocking we arrived at 8pm it's now 9pm and we still have not had our food, the drinks took 25min to arrive and no water until we asked. We won't dine back
Went to this place because of the reviews here. And yes it is a great real indian restaurant. Simple, clean, friendly staff and delicious food. Very nice fresh prepared nan bred. We enjoyed it very much.

Bought a medium butter chicken. Wasn't medium at all, had no spice to it, tastes like peanut butter instead of normal butter chicken and the chicken itself was tasteless. The only good part was the nan bread. I love Indian but I won't be going back there.
The good: delicious food, we had butter chicken, mango chicken and lamb Rogan Josh and it was great, just have to remember that medium spice level here means mild or no spice compared to Jaipur in Hamilton which is our family’s favourite. Next time will order hot and spicy. Service was friendly and courteous but they did appear a little understaffed. The bad: it was a Friday night when we ordered takeaway and it was SUPER busy with people waiting. I ordered at 6:50pm and was told 7:20 for pickup. Arrived then and didn’t receive food until 7:40… as I said I think they need more staff! Thanks Kohinoor, it was a good solid effort when we got our food, we’ll be back.
Friendly staff ensured we were looked after. Fabulous food, great flavours. Definitely recommend.
