Indian Flame Restaurant

Very solid Indian food with a pleasant interior! Portion sizes are generous, the rice is well cooked and the chicken curry was well-spiced and tender. I appreciated the more prominent role of the herbs, as well, but it was a touch salty, which definitely slowed down the eating experience a bit. One of my friends had the butter shrimp, which they said was good but perhaps a bit overcooked; my other friend got samosas and naan, which she swears by. Overall an excellent Indian food option in Cleveland!

This review if I could would be 7 stars ! I had the best Indian food.definitely in Cleveland. I stopped here on my break and my dinner was served in about 16 minutes on a Friday evening. The inside of this restaurant is small ,but very cozy . They seem to a lot of takeout due to being right by Case University. The staff was super nice and welcoming! The thing I like about this restaurant is it’s genuine they don’t Americanize their food . It tasted like I was in India , even thou I never been there. There’s a nice little bar for some drinks , and the decor is great. A must try!

I haven't had much Indian food, so I didn't really know what to expect. Thankfully, I had a friend who was familiar with the selection, and on his recommendations, I tried a couple things - the chicken tikka masala, garlic Naan bread, and we shared an assortment appetizer. As I'd hoped, the food was great! I only got the mild spice level, and it was basically nothing, so I'll have to try the medium next time! Unfortunately, the service was subpar, and it honestly brought down the entire experience. We had literally just started our food, and the first thing the waiter asks me is if I needed a box to go. A little while after that, he gave us our checks, and he took our waters away. Odd choices.

Let me start by saying the butter shrimp is good but not worth the price. This was a first try, and I was kind of disappointed. The samosas were horrible and the sauce that comes with it was not good at all. I’ve tried several Indian food restaurants and these are by far the worst. The breading was too thick not that crunch you usually get more chewy than anything. The oil it’s cooked in was old and it was all you can taste on the samosas. The sauce was just nasty to me, Briyani Pointe is much better. The butter shrimp was good but the sauce taste watered down. Naan was good and the rice was as well. However I wish the cloves we’re removed from the rice but not a deal breaker. Vegetarian options: Veggie samosas and non veggie butter shrimp with garlic naan

Indian Flame is one of the finest in Cleveland , we never get disappointed with the authenticity of Indian cuisines here. If you like lamb, you should definitely try their lamb chops.Biryanis are always greatno doubt about that, we like Butter chicken, Garlic Naan, Chicken Vindaloo too!! Hospitality is by far the best, they are very polite and welcoming.

We tried Masala tea, Bhindi Masala, Aloo Paratha and Chicken Biriyani. The tea was excellent! The paratha and bhindi masala were flavorful and authentic in taste. The chicken biriyani didnt taste authentic but was still tasty. The ambience was great.

Dined in and got chicken curry and garlic Naan. Portions were generous and tasted great. Not many people were there for dine in, so there was no wait and service was fast and courteous. They did a brisk business of take-out orders. There were usually 2-3 people picking up at any time while I was there and all got their food pretty quickly. Certainly seemed a popular place. Would definitely go back again as there were plenty of options on the menu.

This place got a makeover March 15, 2019 and literally everything is better! They have a bar now and the service was lovely. Edit: came back in Aug 2022, and things were really different.. Food was all around worse and they served me the mild and my white friend the hot curry. I’d rather go to saffron patch or paradise than come back here.

Anyone looking to get Indian food in Cleveland area this is the best Indian restaurant by far. Everything on their menu is great and never disappoints. Amazing ambiance and staff. Definitely try their Mango lassi. I have never once been disappointed by this restaurant, each time they manage to blow my mind away with the unbelievably delicious and savory Indian cuisine I have had in all of North America. I have been searching for the best Indian cuisine for about 20 years now and after over 30+ orders from this restaurant dine in, carry out and delivery, I think it is safe to say that this is the one.
