This is the worst butter chicken I’ve ever had. Had a strong smell of sweetener. Had zero creaminess to it! All you could taste and smell was sweetener and the fake kind. And hardly any chicken! Not even 100grams of chicken in a serving that was for 2 people.
The team at Indian Delights is outstanding, consistently displaying a welcoming demeanor. Their extensive expertise in Indian cuisine allows them to offer excellent recommendations for curry selections, which never fail to impress. As the neighbouring barbershop, we can attest to the fact that our clients also adore this establishment. Overall, a fantastic experience.
Came here with friends to have dinner, we were given enough time to figure out what we wanted to order and when our food was ready to be served it was presented so beautifully and the dish looked very traditional the price for our dinner was definitely worth it :
Just walked out of this "restaurant!!", after waiting 1 and a half hours for our main course. The order was taken by a surly waitress who was nothing short of rude. Starter came out 10 minutes after ordering, and it was mediocre at best. We then sat for over an hour ,as did the other 3 tables that were occupied in the restaurant completely ignored by the staff while walk in take away customers were served in under 15 minutes. We waited over an hour before approaching the counter because we hadn't seen the waitress for 45 minutes and asking when we were going to be served the waitress said the "chef" would start cooking our order as soon as he could but they were very busy,. No, they weren't "busy" at all. This establishment needs to make a choice, either be a take away only or at least be honest with dine in customers and say they are unable to accommodate them. Don't spoil people's evening out, you weren't busy you were being greedy and deceptive. Can't comment on the main course food because it just wasn't going to happen, but the starter as I said was thrown down on the table and was under cooked. If you want a pleasant dining experience then take the time and trouble to find another restaurant. Needless to say we won't be back. Very very disappointed.
This was like travelling back in time to the 80-90’s, when Indian food that was over adjusted to cater for the steak and two vege or deep fried beige and chips sensitive pallet. Unfortunately, it didn’t have the 80-90’s price tag to match. Ordered a butter chicken, Madras curry. and Rogan Josh, all tasted rather monosyllabic. The garlic naan was more like a dry crisp disc with flecks of dried garlic.
Really very delicious food... I recommend everyone to try at least for once and u will love it.
Disappointing. Beef was tender. Lacks favour. Price on website different to menu. Didn't care when I showed them. Better around. Saturday night one table occupied. Over priced for the lack of Quality.
BUYER BEWARE This was by far the worst Indian food I have ever eaten, if I wanted a meal with no contents and only sauce I would go and buy a sauce from woolies and drink the jar. 2 pieces of meat in a large meal disappointing.
We tried food here while our way back to melbourne, the best food I have ever tried in Australia in 5 years, best quality. Everything was so good and the best rice ever tried. Everyone should try here if in goldcoast.
Great food and even better value for money. I gave a 4 for service only because english is there 2nd language, but to be honest we had no worries understanding each other. I gave a 4 for atmosphere as its a small quiet restaurant and no great vibe. But its a 5+ for the rest. Outstanding food and value. We fed myself, my wife and my 4y.o daughter and spent $72 on food for dinner. We ate until it reached our necks! We were soo full, and had left overs. Outstanding!
