I recently had the pleasure of dining at Indian Burrp and I can honestly say it was a fantastic experience. From start to finish, the service was impeccable and the food was absolutely delicious. For our entree, we ordered the Burrpie platter and we were blown away by the variety of flavors and textures. Everything was cooked to perfection and the presentation was beautiful. For our mains, we ordered the Butter Chicken and Beef Madras curries and they did not disappoint. The Butter Chicken was creamy and rich with just the right amount of spice, while the Beef Madras had a deep, complex flavor that left us wanting more. The beef madras was definitely our fav! Throughout our meal, the staff at Indian Burrp were attentive and friendly, making us feel right at home. The restaurant itself has a cozy, welcoming atmosphere that's perfect for a night out with friends or a romantic dinner for two. Overall, I would highly recommend Indian Burrp to anyone looking for authentic Indian cuisine and top-notch service. I will definitely be returning soon!
The food is sensational really good flavours. Pity the kitchen was incredibly slow, took 2 hours for dinner, don't be in a hurryFood: 5/5
Experience the rich & flavourful cuisine of Indian FEATURED: Burpie Platter 8pcs: samosa, tandoori chicken, chicken tikka, seek kebab, melting murgh Fish Hari Mirch Melting murgh masala prawn biryani Garlic cheese naan Papadums Kulfi Chardonnay Pinot grio At Indian Burrp, we had an amazing dining experience with friendly service and flavorful food. We loved the Burrpie platter for its variety of textures and flavors, and the Melting Murgh Masala and Fish Hari Mirch were our delicious mains. The prawn Biryani was also flavorful with the Papadums and garlic cheese naan as a side it was paired perfectly with the curries Lastly, don’t forget to try their Pistachio Kulfi to cleanse your palate For those who can & cannot handle spices.. you have the option to choose from mild to extra spicy for most dishes, which is great for controlling the level of heat. But be warned, even the medium spice might be surprisingly hot for some taste buds ..
WOW! Incredible Indian food, with great service! My best friend and I ordered: - Amritsari Prawns - Butter Chicken - Coconut Rice - Garlic Cheese Naan - Prawn Biryani I could seriously eat the Butter Chicken everyday! Was outstanding! The Amritsari Prawns were my absolute fave! They were cooked to perfection and the batter was crispy and full of flavour. Everything else was equally as delicious. Will be going back!
MEAT SAMOSA TANDOORI CHICKEN BUTTER CHICKEN GARLIC CHEESE NAAN BUTTER ROTI PISTACHIO KULFI Their most popular curries are up on the bottomless menu like: Beef Vindaloo, Dhansak Chicken, Butter Chicken, Dal Makhani, Eggplant Masala & Malai Kofta Would highly recommend trying out their naan and rotis in general! Especially the garlic cheese naan super fresh and pairs so well with their curries
Went on a very busy night 3/2/23 where the staff were run off their feet but a small wait for food was absolutely worth it. Amazing & delicious! Melting Murgh Chicken was a highlight. Even though it was busy the staff were very friendly and attentive. Had a wonderful night.
My family have been loyal customers of Indian Burrp for many years, but had the craziest experience with this restaurant last night. We had friends over for dinner, and ordered food for everyone at 6pm. We were told that the food would take 60-70 minutes. Two hours later 8pm everyone was quite hungry so we we called to check on the delivery status. The staff member we spoke to said that whilst she had taken the payment for our order she forgot to tell the kitchen to cook the food and offered a refund as the only possible solution. We spoke to the owner and asked for the food to be delivered ASAP as well as a discount for the inconvenience. He said they wouldn’t do that because it’s a family business and the restaurant was too busy to send our food quickly, but we could get our meals in about 40 minutes. We decided to order from another restaurant and asked for an refund with a receipt. We were embarrassed about having no food for our guests and stressed about being $100 out of pocket. Another hour later we called again because we had not received the refund receipt. A staff member told us they were too busy to process the refund. Ten minutes after that, a different staff member called to tell me they were too busy to process the refund - again. We pointed out that processing a refund would take her less time than a phone call, let alone several phone calls. At around 10pm we had to call again about the refund. Long story short, we got our money back, eventually, but the night was pretty much ruined and we’ll be looking out for a new Indian restaurant in the area!
The food was DELICIOUS! Probably one of the best Indian foods I’ve had in Melbourne so far. They have great atmosphere and decor. The customer service was great. Highly recommended!!Food: 5/5
Had a booking last night for Valentine's Day. When we arrived, we were advised there was a set menu for the night which we weren't made aware of when booking. Our reservation was for 6:30pm. We didn't get our starters until well after 7pm, and our mains didn't arrive until after 8pm. We left as soon as we finished dessert, and that was close to 9pm. Considering there was a set menu with limited options, I'm not sure why the food took so long - there were a number of empty tables, so the restaurant wasn't at capacity. There were no apologies or heads up about the wait time, and we had to follow up on missing items with the wait staff drinks, rice, garlic naan a number of times. The staff were polite and the food was tasty, but unfortunately we're hesitant to return again.
Delicious food but way too slow to come out. Thoroughly enjoyed the food when we eventually got it but we were starving. Looking around us we could see everyone else also waiting for their meals to come out. Such a pity because the food was actually very good. The garlic naan was light, crispy and just perfect. The only disappointment on the menu was the pistachio kulfi which was bland and tasteless. We would go back but we’d call ahead and make sure they started prepping the food before we arrived. Vegetarian options: Various vegetarian options. Kid-friendliness: Children seemed welcome. Parking: Parking in service road off the highway.
