Quaint little restaurant with a nice vibe. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I ordered a combination fried rice and chicken chow mein. Both were pretty good, large meal sizes and good flavour. Prices were reasonable and the place was pretty busy with take away orders so I had the whole place to myself.
Food was a little bland. I don’t recommend. Service was good but the food wasn’t great. The chow mein wasn’t even chow mein.
my sister and i went to imperial chopsticks tonight for dinner, and i wish we didn’t. it wasn’t busy at all tonight, but maybe too busy for the two staff members to keep up. firstly we ordered 2 lemon, lime and bitters. we waited a good 15 minutes for the waitress to let us know they didn’t actually have any and to get something else. we waited 20 minutes for water that we had to ask for. we ordered our food, it took about 30 minutes for the first few things to come out but the honey chicken didn’t. we waited a while before asking the waitress how long it was going to be and we had no response from her afterwards. the customer service was almost laughable it was that bad. no checking on tables, no eye contact, nothing. it took 30 minutes after the first parts came out for the honey chicken to come out, and no apology for the wait. we tried it, and it was disgusting. chewy and gross. when we went up to pay we asked nicely for the honey chicken to be taken off as it was inedible. she asked her boss, came back and said rudely “we can’t take it off, but we can put it in a takeaway container” and i told her that we don’t want it because it was disgusting. she was so rude to us, so i told her how bad the customer service was. i said we need some type of compensation, she got her boss and her boss was lovely and took the honey chicken off our bill. we will never ever go back there. the customer service was horrible and the food wasn’t great either.
The front of house service was good. The rest not so much. We ordered 4 dish and took 30 minutes for the first dish to come out. we got the rest a while apart, each only going cold while we wait for the rice we had to ask were the fried rice was than waited an extra 20 minutes only for it to come out and it was burnt. Wasnt happy at all. Than we cancel the desert and paid and left. Spoke to them and said wasn't happy at all
Ordered combination chow mein, only little bit of noodle in it, tiny bit meat as well, flavour is ok but just don’t think it is worth $22 , manager kept telling me thats what it is! its not true! I had been to many different Chinese restaurants, only that cooked it like this , won’t go back again !
Very disappointing feed. It was 25 minutes from the first meal my partner to come out 25 minutes later. Mine came out. Others at the table never received theirs. Rice was cold and had to chase for it. It was not very nice service when we chose to leave.Food: 1/5
Worst dining experience ever when I spend CNY with my family. Service was very slow. Waitresses were appalling.. instead of serving dishes to individual seating was requested to pass meals along the table and on a wrong order the dish was taken back but no return of right dish until asked again. So if I didn't ask I will not get a meal as the waitress keep saying the order was wrong and that was it. Food was also very ordinary. Will not return again.
Ordered cashew chicken. It looked like a plate of white slop with a bit of green thrown in . Tried eating it but it was disgusting it tasted nasty.Never experienced cashew chicken like this anywhere else.I sent it back and got sweet and sour chicken instead it tasted like it had been fried in burnt oil
Unfortunately the service is really poor. At times we have waited up to 3 hours for take away, even when ordering before 6pm. Dishes are mostly onion, and fried rice is often burnt. This place had my hangry heart for the longest time, but we're out of last chances for this place.
We have been going here for years. Really good for kids - traditional chinese - the kids love the sizzling chicken or sizzling beef - not too hot but flavoursome. Dining in with kids is acceptable. Price is slightly on the expensive side of things but OK for the quality of the food. Nothing too glamorous here - just good old fashioned chinese food. Recommend for dine in chinese with kids.
