Sensational place for a meal. We had dinner here and it's right opposite the beach so you can look out on the palm trees and watch the waves all while eating a well cooked lovely meal. My wife had gnocchi in slow cooked lamb ragu,while I had the cappricossa pizza. Both were delicious and such a relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommend having a meal here
I’ve been coming to Il Chiosco for a while now. Mainly for my daily afternoon coffee and the occasional meal every few weeks.nnAs a creature of habit, I’ve been very impressed with this cafe. Michael is always positive and cheerful. The front- and back-of house staff go above and beyond too. What I think helps is the staff are or at least speak Italian too. This just adds to the atmosphere.nnNot only is the coffee tasty, it is very reasonably priced. I can’t argue with the scenery either. What a great way to while away an afternoon. Apart from adding Tiramisu with cream to have with the coffee as a treat.nnEveryone, keep up the great work and attitude.
Really nice. Very busy on a Saturday morning but it has a great holiday feeling about it. Food was good, the service great and it's definitely a place to come back for another visit.
We moved up here from Melbourne and thought we’d miss some of our fav Italian places but not after dining here. The food is incredible! Our favourites are the seafood carbonara and seafood pasta. The pizzas are also great, however, you must have pasta omg so good
As tourists with a busy schedule, we were disappointed by the long wait times. Drinks and entrées took over 30 minutes, and the main course arrived 45 minutes later - leaving us seated for a total of 2.5 hours for dinner. We ended up eating our meals in 10-15 minutes because we were not just starving, it was already too late.nnWhile the food was good - it tho didn’t meet our high expectations and certainly didn’t make up and or justify service delays. The place could use more atmosphere and better communication with diners. Overall, not worth the high price.
