Great place to get high quality meat, cheeses and fruit and vegetables. Always friendly staff that genuinely like to work there. And make a great coffee with the little ginger bread man.
Great local IGA. They have a surprisingly good selection of cheeses and meats. The opening hours are also very convenient. My only minor complaint is that the fresh bread options could be better, but otherwise, it's a nice place to shop.
Amazing customer service from a lovely lady named Angela on the front end. Everytime I shop there, she always makes my day. Fast, efficient service and always greeted with a smile. Why would I shop anywhere else? Not to mention, the front end is always spot-less. Keep up the great work Angela!
11/03/2025 It happened again! they printed the label, crossed it out, and then wrote on it steak curry pie, but it was a chicken and veg pie. WHY IS IT SO HARD TO LABEL CORRECTLY? I've said it before someone needs REAL TRAINING. This shop needs a visit from health and safety.nnBought a BEEF AND MUSHROOM PIE and received a CHICKEN AND VEG PIE. If they can't label a pie right, how can I trust what's going on in the back? Am I going to order a plain sausage and receive an extremely hot chill one? For people with allergies, this could be very dangerous. Retraining of food safty needs to happen NOW.nnP.S. While I'm here, I would like to inform the manager of bloomfield iga that I am still patiently waiting for you to activate my loyalty card, which I received almost 1 year ago... Without a doubt this is the nicest supermarket I have come across in the Gold Coast/Brisbane area. Sure, it’s a bit pricey - but this supermarket has an amazing variety of good quality foods which you won’t find in your average Joe supermarket. There is a range of sushi, cheese, meats, kitchen foods, baking and that’s before you even get to the aisles of regular supermarket foods. But instead of having a row of the same product, there are multiple options condensed into the aisles - and nearly staked. The staff are on top of topping up and stocking shelves. A wonderful experience and a perfect supermarket for a small shop or even for a weekly shop for most people.
