I came in to shop here a couple weeks ago as I usually would. As always my experience was pretty good but the past few times I have gone in there has been a strong smell of body odour coming from one the staff members. I feel as if this is something that could be easily handled but i did not want to embarrass the staff member.
I have spent a lot of money at this store over the past two years, wanting to support a smaller independently owned business. Never in my life, have I ever been spoken to so rudely anywhere as what I was tonight by an checkout employee. All for asking why I couldn't purchase certain items when they are open, and it's still 15 minutes before they close. I will be boycotting this shop from now on because it was an absolute disgrace.
After attending this store for the past 8 years, I won’t be going back. Whilst attempting to self serve orange juice recently, an older bearded employee or owner who knows? chastised me for using the machine incorrectly. Instead of approaching me in a nice manner to assist - he was abusive, rude and downright aggressive when explaining the proper way to use the machine. Courtesy goes a long way and IGA/Spar - whatever it’s called this week - has gone down hill and this guy needs to take some lessons in how to talk to people. #lostcustomer
Fresh and easy to access, plenty of parking spaces.
Great Veggie section, main reason for going there apart from being conveniently next to the Coffee Shop and Crusty Devil. If you only need a couple of things, it ticks all the boxes. The IGA are dog haters! Dogs are not allowed outside shops, who does that?nI won't shop there ever again!!!!!!!!nSo sad as other shops suffer as well!
