This is my local IGA store.nThey stock a great range of products and I love the fact that I can buy Western Star thick cream here! Some great items that you cannot get in Coles and Woolworths.nnThey also do lunch packs, ready made sandwiches, light lunches, dinners, precut fruit and more so you can stock up on the pre-packaged lunches ir pop in during lunch or smoko.nnYes, prices are a little more than the big chain stores, but you support the real locals, and you don't waste money on stuff you don't need.nnEasy access, open 7 days and plenty of parking too!
I left a review to complain about poor cooking hygiene habits from the kitchen staff. It wasn’t taken seriously by management, but instead met with personal and irrelevant details about my life discussed. Very mature. I never asked the staff to properly wash their hands a second or third time. I only addressed that they did NOT wash their hands after handling raw chicken and prior to serving the cooked food I asked for. That was enough for me to just forget it and leave. This is the 2nd occasion I have had this issue. The first time I was thoroughly disgusted, but didn’t want to be rude so I purchased the meal and threw it away as soon as I walked out. I thought it was just a one off coincidence, but apparently I was wrong. Food borne illness is no joke, but the manager clearly seems to think so.
Poor customer service from Josie. She never greets nor smiles. Is more worried about how her nails look. Makes you feel uncomfortable when being served.
Sold me ROTTEN MEAT and the useless manager Josh refused a refund – absolute joke of a store.
Small store very neat and tidy they do stock very limited items due to the size of the store very easy to navigate around you do see some items that says price matched but price matched with who would be helpful to say price match with Coles/Woolies if it is indeed price matched.nHaving said that I feel like a criminal every time I go to the store the first time an old lady yelled at me to put my backpack down I said I have medication inside which I did over $150 worth so was hesitant about leaving bag unattendednEvery time since I get watched like a hawk I’m nearly 60 and yet I feel like a criminal.nLast time I was being watched from across the car park whilst waiting to be picked up because I had a trolley I’m no criminal and shouldn’t be treated like one yes the area might have a few undesirables for want of a better word but you can’t judge a book by its cover yes I have tattoos and don’t dress like a 60 year old however I do present well I don’t use any form of drugs or even drink yet treated like I’m a local druggie.So now we have to find another shop to get the basics from even though that’s our local. I served our country yet I feel like a criminal
