Go here quite regularly. The owner is lovely it's a pitty I can't say the same about some of his female staff. Rude and don't know the meaning of customer service. Especially the rude big mouthed woman I had to deal with Tonight I am glad she was to busy to serve me seeing as she had such an issue with me walking up to an opened register that another customer was just served on 1 second before, and instead of communicating effectively like a normal human being she ordered someone else to serve me and then continued to walk away running her mouth.
The shop is clean and very fresh looking and the variety exceptional. Overall nothing to complain about. Well that was 8 years ago and now believe it or not they have got better. The service is great and they make up fresh home cooked meals: roast beef, pork or chicken with gravy and veggies, a variety of pasta and rice meals all ready to throw in the micro wave. The staff are pleasant most of the time, sometimes mopy teenagers, but still helpful. I just hope the current owners remain for the long run.
I called into IGA Loganlea and my eyes popped out of my head. Asked if the Tip Top bread was $7.00 no it was $6.00 absolutely ridiculous considering the same bread at Cole's is $4.40. IGA said they have put their prices down. No way will I pay $6.00 for bread . Pretty Sad. I really hope IGA explain bread pricesnto me because it's outrageous.
I live locally and shop their each week. They never have all the meat specials or the 3 day specials, blamed on not received on load, I know you pre order your specials or get an allocation, they never show up, will not match the price on similar line. I managed and owned independent supermarkets for many years.
Just had a great experience! I called up asking for a difficult request asking if it was possible to order flowers through uber however it wasn't listed on the app and the amazing lady that picked up when above and beyond to help, and even sent photos of the flowers so I knew what I was buying. Such a great person!
