Unfortunately, this is one of the worst groceries stores in the area, and I know many of the community are looking forward to the Woolies opening nearby. There are always big gaps and missing produce on the shelves, and the prices are far steeper than I’ve seen anywhere else. Big boxes and unattended ladders are always filling the aisles. The fruit and vegetables usually have flies floating about them. Old special labels are always left out, so you always get a steeper bill than what you expect - which is hard when you’ve purposely shopped all the sale items. Especially in the freezer section, stock is always changing too - what’s there one week, might never be there again, so it’s hard to develop any sort of brand loyalty. Staff typically have difficulty when you pay by coins too - which could be helped by the higher teams organising support around this.
I live nearby and I’m fed up with this IGA. Terrible produce often squashed or mouldy, out of date products on shelves, the store is small so they squash as much as they can onto shelves which means products are very often damaged, plus the prices are high than usual. I’ve had enough and will never be going back. There’s a very good IGA at Bridgeport along with a great Harris Farm and Aldi, there’s also a Woolworths opening up a the road in 2023. No chance this IGA survives.
Bad selection AND expensive. Great combo.

The most overpriced IGA I've ever been to. They get 2 stars because their range is interesting at least.
I receive the current catalogue for so-called specials from IGA but when I go there to shop thoseso-calledspecials are not available, and the prices continue to increase. I won't be going back to IGA.

It's ok, but a bit pricey
Quite a good store, I usually go there for small things but never a full shop because of the prices. Great for an emergency shop or just grabbing snacks but would not recommend for a full shop. Also one minor complaint, some employees can be rude or just seem like they hate they're job. Many people who work there are very nice and seem energetic and give great service but there are a few who I only see work the registers that can put a damper on your day.
Small aisles, ok range and high prices. Despite the small aisles there are always displays in them. Check the date on products. Ordinary shopping experience but convenient
