Be very careful, as the young staff on two occasions have charged me for cigarettes, then when pulled up, they look at each other, how did that happen. Very poor the fact the owner allows these sort of people to run there front of house.
Great selection of products. Very convenient when we are missing some ingredients.
Do not stock all advertised catalogue specials and are more expensive than other supermarkets
Great friendly store. I topped up my Opal here and got my amaysim voucher. Some items are very expensive but I just go for the sale items. Support your local.
Convenient and friendly... lovely folks at the check out and well stocked shelves of quality groceries. ..and it keeps getting with expansion of their range
Convenient, but poor service and a little concerned about food safety. Staff frequently return out of date or damaged goods to shelves; they wont refund if you've purchased these items, but ask you collect a new one. Staff stock shelves during the day and block aisles; they will not move, look or talk to you. Strangely they are always out of stock and take several days to refill shelves. Expensive compared to local Coles and Harris Farm. Priced more like a local convenience store.
I have recently moved into the area and tonight was about my third time shopping into this store. I have noticed the poor customer service for the last few times, normally involving all their stuff, mostly young girls chatting away behind the counter, giggling and pretty dismissive to any questions or queries that people come to them with, since there is actually noone spread around the aisles that customers can come to. Today I needed to go into store again to buy some fresh meat since my puppies have ran out of food until the weekend. After going around the store quite a few times and not finding anyone, I came to ask a young girl called Catharina ? who was behind the counter where the fresh meat section was. She laughed and told me it was right back on the aisle where I came from. After going again and coming back, this young lady was still behind the counter laughing and giggling with an older Asian lady, who seemed to be her supervisor. They then both directed me to the right aisle which was on the other side of the store, while continued to giggle. It took me a while to understand that they were actually laughing at me, or possibly having fun while sending me to the wrong aisle? I am still not sure what happened there. As I am not the first customer and knowing how expensive running a business is, I am quite intrigued and curious as to whether the person who owns and probably invests a lot in this store knows that that is even happening? No surprise why the place is always so empty despite the quality and range variety. I have given it three shots but after today I would not recommend this store, and I am definitely not going there again.
Overcharging, mislabelled prices. Bathroom/hygiene products labelled as on special are rung up at full price e.g. body wash labelled as $9 rung up for $16. Has happened mulitple times. Cashier goes to check the aisle and comes back to tell me its not on special. Everytime I go to check again after making my purchase in the store?? Yeah, you bet it's labelled as 9 bloody dollars. More than once consecutively is not coincidence. Staff here are liars thinking theyre smart pulling the easiest scam in the world.
This is by far the best IGA store I've seen in Sydney. Huge range and everything you need.
Manager Jamie needs a serious customer service check. Will be taking my complaint further. Treated like a criminal over tissue boxes when I was clearly doing a shopping for myself and my disabled mother. There is no signage as she claimed and I asked repeated staff members for the limits. Power gone to her head. Probably has a garage full of baby formula and toilet paper to ship back home as they have none on the shelves. Disgusting IGA will make sure nobody in my family ever visits here again.
