Handy urban supermarket located deep within the FOMO centre. It sells a great variety of general groceries and snacks, fresh veg and ready made deli items. Lasagne by slice was excellent quality. Customer service at checkouts could use a revamp.

Extremely rude customer service by one young Indian lady.nnWent in this morning on my day off to grab some stuff for my 7 month old daughter and when checking out she rushed me as I was grabbing change from my purse constantly saying in a rushed voice “0.25 cents” on repeat.nnWasn’t offered a bag or anything so upon asking she looked at me with the filthiest look on face “do you have 0.40 cents for a bag”nnSuper disrespectful to assume a young 26 year old mother doesn’t have 40 cents when I clearly had cash in my purse and I clearly looked well dressed .nnI am a retail manager myself and the amount of of disrespect I received was beyond appalling.nnI’d suggest an attitude check for the young lady because it’s not ok to talk disrespectfully to customers like that.
I work for the state government in the Fomo building. I spend a lot of money here, usually getting both my lunch and general food shopping at this IGA. I am sick and tired of being treated like a criminal and having my bag checked constantly. I wear neat business wear attire and there is no reason to think I am shoplifting. I will be taking my business elsewhere
Treated like a criminal went in was there less than 3 minutes grabbed a drink and straight to the counter and paid for it which the Indian checkout lady told me she needed to search my bag yet the man in front didn’t get his bag searched I said there and she said she needed to have a better look and went through it then let me leavennAbsolutely appalling. They need to pay for security if they are getting things stolen not go through peoples personal belongings in front of everyone at a check outnnWill never go here again and ever time I use an IGA they usually charge me a different price to what is advertised so check your receipts as they seem to be the criminals here
