I've always been impressed with their friendly staff, convenient location, and competitive prices. The store is always well-stocked and clean, with a great selection of fresh produce, dairy products, and household essentials.nnHowever, I do wish they would consider stocking more Halal meat options. As a Muslim, it's essential for me to have access to Halal meat, and unfortunately, IGA doesn't currently offer this. I've looked for Halal meat options in cans or packs, but they're not available.nnDespite this limitation, I still shop at IGA regularly because of their excellent customer service and convenient location. I just hope that they'll take my feedback on board and consider introducing Halal meat options in the future.
We visited this store on 29/12/2025. And we bought a garlic bread true blue and we checked the best before date just after we paid for the goods. The date was changed to 1st May 2026 with a permanent marker. The new date was hand written overlaying the original date. We saw the printed date was ending with 2025. As it’s only few days left before 2026 we wanted to exchange the garlic bread we bought. We informed the lady at the counter and went in to get another one. Surprisingly all were same. In one package we could see the actual date which was 24/09/2025. And someone has changed it to 01/05/2026 with a marker pen. In that case they were selling expired garlic bread. When we asked the manager Jasmine as I recall she said she is not aware of that as it is not her DEPARTMENT. And she said that she will check that on next day. But we didn’t have time to visit IGA next day as we were already heading back. Be very careful with these type of things. Very disappointed. Can’t believe they being this careless about food items which can be potentially dangerous.
A young lady half my age made me open my camera bag as if I were a thief! I took my camera with me only because I was a bit reluctant to leave £3000 worth equipment in my car.

It's a IGA alright. A Classic, standard and Australian-owned IGA. I come here after work to buy food and drink sometimes, I get what I get and I don't get upset Like my friend always says, Well actually he applies that comment to the issue of transgenderism but its probably best not to get into that topic on a google review It's a pretty well-maintained shop with friendly staff. No real complaint here, just your typical grocery shop.
