i walked in tonight, paid for a few things & got the receipt. realised i was charged for something i didn’t even end up buying. I walked in immediately to get my refund, to which i was told “i am not obligated to give you a refund, once you walk out of the store thats on you” basically. She was also talking quite loudly to another worker about how busy it is & that the customers don’t realise they’re open tomorrow. She was EXTREMELY RUDE. i did end up getting my refund but if i will walk in here again is another story. Monday 4th of November at roughly 7:55pm.
The prices in my opinion are kinda getting ridiculous why is basic food so expensive it’s like 6 dollars for snacks and drinks are like 4 dollars buying like 4 items are already 30 dollars that’s crazy some of the stuff can be kinda rude or just ignoring people the freezers are always broken and for a medium size ish supermarket not much there but so expensive :/nnI’m having to go to killmore Cole’s or Safeway which is cheaper and better options but can be annoying to always drive there
Staff aren't very friendly unless you're a local, then they don't mind having a good chat. Very small store but it's well stocked if they don't have what your looking for the chances are you'd find an alternative product. Prices aren't too bad considering they're the only supermarket in town, I wouldn't do a main shop here but great to grab anything you may have forgotten.
Broadford IGA has absolutely awesome careing staff, very helpful with assistance and all make that little time to acknowledge everyone. The store is ran very well and although a small and busy store, they still have everything one needs. Great IGA store. :
A good variety of products, and well priced. Staff was friendly.
