Avoid. Terrible customer service. No communication between sales and delivery, each blaming the other for repeated stuff ups. Information I gave to customer service to faciltate delivery to my Newcastle office either ignored or not given to driver. Assured delivery in afternoon - truck arrived in the morning when I was off site for business. Had to cancel MTG drive back to office to be greeted by abusive driver who said he couldn't find parking then drove off with my furniture. Customer service tried to fob off responsibility. Another date was set for the following week. When I challenged them about their poor service I was told by the mgr they were doing me a favour by coming back out. Despite being assured afternoon delivery, on the day, received call at 8am from the driver saying he was 30 mins away from my office. I had to drive back again from offsite MTG with client. Truck was waiting outside office. Driver started lecturing me about being "late"until I until I told him in no uncertain terms to close his mouth and demanded he get up stairs with the furniture. He immediately began moaning about it not being a ground floor drop off. I had repeatedly told customer service it was an upstairs dropoff. Two weeks later, I got a call from the driver saying he was 30 mins away and had a desk for me. I told him I had made no such order and not to contact me again. This week this driver left a msg for me saying he had delivered a chair for me and ad I wasn't around had left it outside the office door. I had not ordered the chair! Ideal Furniture should go back to the Twilight Zone where they belong, and stay there.

We recently opened up an office not far from King street and had actually heard about Ideal Office Furniture from a close friend who had also used them in the past and had good things to say about not only the furniture but the services they provided along with them - the help with choosing the furniture, designing the space/layout, delivering the chosen products and then fitting everything in. I can now second what my friend had to say - They are fantastic at what they do, they really know their stuff and have their customers best interests at hear. Well done Mark and the rest of the team - You are all doing a great job and we are enjoying our new office. Cheers!

I went to buy a chair on a Saturday at the address advertised on the web. They were not there. I wrote an email to the company and complained about the wasted time. The boss himself rang me and apologised for the inconvenience. He then went on to say that the ad which contained the erroneous information was placed by Google and not the company and they had tried to get Google to alter it or take it down with no success. He then offered to sell me an office chair at cost price to compensate me for the wasted time. THIS is what I call great customer relations. I went from pissed off to very pleased.
