Cheap prices on face value but the actual load size is at least 25% less than what you pay for. I mentioned that it was not the correct amount and he said it was because the first bucket that was tipped into the trailer was compressed by the second - even though I was getting mulch which barely compresses. Not a particularly nice businessman at all. I even showed him how I worked out the measurement and he said he calculates it differently and walked off not sure how many other ways there are to measure length x height x width Either way - get your garden supplies from someone else who deserves your business.
1.5 metres black garden mulch delivered promptly. Very cheap great quality. Friendly service and a little gift as well. Fabulous garden supplier.
I ordered 1 cubic metre of pine mulch from Melwyn garden supplies 70$ +20$ for delivery. The guy was friendly when I ordered and delivered during the day. But when it was unloaded, I realised the amount was less than 1 cube. I used my 48L cart to measure and it did not fit even 10 loads of it. That is less than 500L, where 1 cube is 1000L . I have ordered compost 1 cube from a different supplier, and that time, I got 20 loads of the cart exactly. I called him to, and he was very rude. Did not admit there could be a mistake. Refused to deliver what I paid for, he did not even offer to compensate, and started abusing me with a number of racial remarks. Very bad experience. I do not recommend.
Ordered 1 cube of sandy loam. Guy was friendly and delivered 1.5 cube. However the "loam" had marble sized rocks and alot of clay throughout. Made it un-usable. Very difficult to top dress grass with clay and rocks. Had to spend many hours to rake out the rocks.
Definitely the worst garden supply ever! Dont have proper truck to deliver and the owner is very rude. Dont go to these guys ever!
