we got this fried chicken which was nice and some desserts. service was really disappointing. i was either overcharged even adjusting for the public holiday surcharge or the menu pricing was wrong but i didn't dispute it. waited 15 mins for our drink to come out, then asked at the counter and they thought i wanted to order another one. i said i'd already ordered and paid, and waitstaff immediately gave me the drink which was sitting on the counter which was correct order. despite dining in as one of three tables in the venue, with the order number visible on the table...
I used to come to Icey Ice now iDessert for special occassions when I was younger and was obsessed with the shredded ice cream. It's really different to other dessert restaurants in Perth. I went back for the first time in a long time, and the ice cream was decent. I think that it could be higher quality in my opinion, especially when it comes to the flavouring sauce. It's quite espensive, about $13 for a large. It wouldn't be a place I will come to often just because it's quite pricey and isn't that extraordinary of an experience for the price, but I like it. The place is quite big, and is a nice place to just come for dessert. I haven't had the savoury meals but I am willing to try.
To be honest, the tofu pudding is good, but don't try its bento, I ordered something like sweet and sour pork, it's very disgusting!!! The taste not sweet, it just sour and very salty. It makes me feel sick and want to vomit. Very disappointed at all. This is the worst restaurant I have ever tried in WA, I will never come again and, of course, will not recommend people come.......
Food is very tasty and authentic. The fried chicken is so yummy, even better than the ones in Taiwan. Wonton noodle soup was also very good quality and the serving was quite substantial. The Taiwanese dessert was also very yummy. Highly recommended.
Man first time I went and it was awesome, although a lady came over to us and spayed chemicals at our feet and moped around and under us as we were eating. It honestly didn't bother me but I don't know if they do that often as its not very healthy and or well polite.only reason I put 3 stars But the deserts were amazing will be back for those.
We came at about 6PM and there were plenty of tables empty. We ordered three dishes here. The tradional stew pork belly was nice while the zhajiang noodle and the Teriyaki chicken bento were not authentic. The ice plum tea was not impressive either.
WORST RESTAURANT EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE Food had no flavour, spaghetti noodles used in laksa, ordered beef but I’m not sure what meat I received tasted horrible. Bento made my sister cry from feeling ill. Waited 40 minutes for an incorrect order which was given to the Chinese family next to us for free... and received stone cold waffles. I felt sorry for the sweet woman that was serving us at the front counter, it’s not her fault for the poor quality food.
Genuinely sad that this place has gone so downhill. Once upon a time this cafe and its counterparts in the CBD used to be unbeatable for blended ice style slushie / frappe drinks and snow ice but the focus has broadened way too far over the years and the overall quality of the drinks and the service has declined substantially it took me almost half an hour to recieve an order of 2 drinks in an almost empty Cafe. The cafe is dirty, understaffed and the focus appears to be placed on completing Ubereats and Deliveroo orders rather than servicing the customers sitting in their cafe within a timely manner. A real shame as its core offering remains unique in Perth.
They do food, but it takes years for it to be prepped and served. Desserts on the other hand, are fast, sugary, and sweet. The decor is also dated. Perhaps a candidate for Restaurant Impossible
Worst representation of Taiwanese Food, very bad flovours and very bad time management. We waited almost an hour for our meals. Me and my friend wanted to eat together but we waited for like an hour for one of the meal. So then until my friend finished her meal my meal starting to come out.
