Month of visit: October 2024nnOur first time trying ice skating! I don’t know much about ice skating, and this was my very first time trying this. My daughter was invited to her friend’s birthday, and they played on the ice.nnIf you are a newbie, you can have the ‘penguins’ to lean on and hold on. However, the penguins are too short, even for my 7-year-old kid. If they could have a taller one, I think that would be great. The place was pretty busy on Sunday, The location is pretty far from where we lived, but the public transportation is okay though, and the location is located not far from the bus stop.
Fantastic experience had for my daughter’s 7th birthday party. Our party host Georgia was friendly & helpful. She spent time with each child teaching them to skate, most hadn’t skated before and she was able to give them the confidence of skating with out the need of a penguin by the end of the party. Recommend to all! Thank you!
Had the best time ice-skating with my granny was both our 1st time.nGets abit cold after a hour of skating and they have these cool penguins for first timers a great idea.nFriendly staff on the rink very helpful.nFood is cooked fresh and nice.nGreat coffeenGreat memories love to do again .
The ice rink was in great condition, the rental skates are obviously not the most comfortable but what disappointed me a lot is the fact that on a general session you’re not allowed to practice jumps even if you’re doing it safely in the middle of the rink.nBeing a self-taught ice skater I was really looking forward to getting back on the skates and pick up where I left off but it seems like you need to be part of a school to do that now I don’t have the time and don’t live in BrisbanennIt would be great if it could be more flexible or maybe adding another time slot for people with experience wanting to practice and get better.
Daughter had her 9th birthday party here and it was a blast!nOnly a couple of her friends had ice skated before, but by the end, they were all zooming around and having a ball.nOur hostess was extremely friendly and helpful and gave all of the timid kids plenty of tips and tricks to get going.nHighly recommend
