As a Professional Figure skater, I’ve been training and competing here since 2018, which means I’ve seen quite a few things change. While there is still a bit of mould, I’ve seen staff here working SUPER hard on making this place a better environment and experience! So this place is a 10/10 must go in summer!! Been there twice and enjoyed it both times. The first time was a few weeks ago when it was opened to the public for free skating because there had been a change in management and they wanted to relaunch the rink. It was packed that day with a very long queue both to enter and to rent skates. The second time was better; no wait time and much less people on the rink even though only one of the rinks was in use. They have support bars and penguins for novices like me who can’t skate without support. Will wholeheartedly recommend.
Very dated, filthy dirty and falling apart around the seams. Party food was shocking, staff never smiled once. And if you are happy for your kids to play amongst the black mold and breath it in, then this place is for you, but please don't.
My now fiancé asked me to be his wife!the managers Craig and Rebecca were in cahoots and set up the most magical night of our lives! The ice ArenA will always hold a special place in our hearts! 100/10 fun! 1000/10 magic! Thank you once again from us! Georgia & Damien
Skates need to be thrown out and new ones bought. Spent alot of time in line just to get skates as most were broken and wouldn't buckle. The free hot chocolate were a nice touch...but waiting for over an hour for it was ridiculous...apparently the buzzer I got given wasn't working...the hot chocolate was just warm milk, not chocolatey at all.
I’m giving the Ice arena a three as a courtesy hence to say I won’t be taking my boys there again I felt demeaned by management of front desk because I wanted to talk about payment and a bit more detail even though I had spoken to them over email I didn’t quite understand as I have a disability, but my son wanted to do it so bad we took him to the lesson and I felt awkward and awful with how I was treated earlier on so I hope you get better front staff that is courteous and kind.
Hadn't been since they did the renovations, moldy walls, and decaying floors. The ceiling in the car park is moldy as well. The hire skates haven't been replaced in 10+ years and are falling apart. The ice is only maintained on the large rink, which is a shame. On the positive side their is an extra rink now, so more space for inexperienced skaters or people just wanting some fun. My last experience here was so great, and it's such a shame to have to update a positive review.
Rude lady staff never smile and she looks got sick has runny nose in front of the customers. Take rest first then back to work when you ready to face your customers
The condition of the skates, the ice and the black mould covering most of the walls surrounding the rink...I don't think I need to elaborate any further. Just avoid and wait for the new rink to open up in Elizabeth.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNot sure
Great place for fun especially in hot summer school holidays! Super friendly staff. Have other game facilities available. Better hospitality is needed, however you can still enjoy great food nearby.
