Last night we celebrated my sons 10th birthday here with his mates. The staff were fantastic; so lovely and efficient. Did the disco night session which is for 6-8pm. He had an absolute ball. Thank you for making his birthday so special.nThe venue overall is hectic! Would not recommend for neurodivergence kiddos who can’t cope with noise and crowds. We were very squashed in by a larger party next to us and many adults wanting our seating as there isn’t any downstairs.nAs long as you realise this isn’t a quiet skate and cake style party - you’ll have a great time.
Great to see the re-located rink. It’s huge! Easy parking around entrance on Johnson St. left at 22 O’Riordan St driving towards Mascot. 5 minute walk to Green Square train station.
As I understand, it's a temporary rink, but the condition of the ice is terrible. The ceiling drips creating holes that they have to fill up, causing many significant bumps and divots in the ice. And this is all across the ice. As someone just starting out with ice skating it makes it a terrible experience, constantly getting skates caught in these. Feels like a genuine safety issue that isn't getting resolved.nGreat location, but small sized rink and no seating.
This was a great indoor activity for a rainy day.nIt was easy enough to park on the street it is all 2PnPrices were reasonablenIt was really tight around the rink to move around so found it hard to change from shoes to skates.nThe ice itself was good and not wet like other rinks.nDefinetly a great place to take the kids!
Very disappointed, our child has been doing ice skating lessons tiny tots 4 years old for a few months now. Every single Saturday lesson has a different instructor, which impacts the his development, guidance, learning consistency and overall rapport building.nWe spoke with management and were advised that they need to give all instructors work, therefore are not actually taking into consideration the students. $40 for a 30 minute lesson you would think that they would want to provide quality lessons and the students learning development would be a priority. Unfortunately would not recommend Ice Zoo for skating lessons.
