Now called the Tik Tok center. I went there to see Tim Minchin on 29/11/ 2025. On the plus side it is very easy to get to on public transport. The staff were friendly and helpful and the entry, bag checking and clock room went well considering it is a very large venue. The bar and food were pretty standard except for an interesting coffee vending machine. Water on tap was a nice touch and toilets were clean and not over crowded. In terms of some of the less positive aspects ; some of the seats were a long way from the stage and it would have been difficult to see the screens right from the back. We were in a reserve on the side and got a pretty good view however the sound system was a little buzy when the whole band played but was much clearer when one or two people were preforming. All in all I would say it is a pretty good venue but have taken a point off for the sound system.
Good size area to have all necessary meetings, all areas are easily locatable due to adequate signage. There was plenty of areas where seating was provided throughout the building. There was sufficient entry and exist spots and a good number of elevators on all floors to make coming and going as smooth as possible. There is a storage area if you have bags or suitcases that need to be stored whilst you are out doing your thing, this service is provided free of charge which is a bonus if you have checked out of your hotel room and have luggage or even if you just have those small items that need to be stored away. Building is maintained and looked to be in good order. Plenty of staff to assist if you have any questions or enquiries. There is taxi and airbnb pick up and drop off locations a few moments walk from most exits which is handy. Close to eating establishments. There is not shortage of boat tours that depart just a few minutes walk from the ICC building. There was heating all throughout the building, all areas were clean of litter, there was plenty of rubbish bins at various locations on all floors. Toilets were easily locatable and kept in a clean state. Within the rooms throughout the building there was plenty of seating for any meetings or conventions that were taking place. The ICC is located in a central location and plenty of other attractions to see if needing to feel in time or wanting to explore the area. Plenty of outdoor areas to sit and eat or just relax and feel in your day.
I have attended the Find Food Expo for two years, and it is a wonderful event. However, the elevator setup was a bit confusing, and it would be beneficial to have clearer signage with instructions, especially for those who are non-native English speakers.
Had the most amazing encounter at the EV show today, the concierge at the front of the hall, gave my son a memorable present sorry forgot to ask you your name, remember you were very tall and had a nice smile, always trying to be helpful, thank you.
ICC Sydney is not only a modern convention center but also a lively hangout spot for young people. In front of its unique long LED wall, you’ll often see groups gathering to dance, perform, and socialize. It creates a vibrant and youthful vibe, making it a fun stop when exploring Darling Harbour.
