This is the one of the best places that holds lots of different events and such. Today partner and I attended the 2025 Good Food and Good Wine Show first time for me and first time for him - it was fun, spacious, vibrant, lots of people, food and drinks. Would always return for lots of different things to do and see
ICC Sydney has everything you’d want in a convention centre — spacious design, stunning harbour views, and a seamless flow between indoor halls, outdoor terraces, and breakout spaces. I came here for an event and was genuinely impressed by how well-organised everything was. The main theatre has incredible acoustics and sightlines, and the foyer areas are flooded with natural light, making even large crowds feel relaxed.nnThere are heaps of food options nearby, and the venue itself is kept spotlessly clean. From the waterside steps to the iconic glass exterior, it’s also incredibly photogenic — especially during golden hour or when lit up at night.
Les Misérables at ICC Sydney was definitely an upscaled audiovisual experience compared to the original production.nnWe were incredibly lucky to book seats in a premium location for just $99 per person – honestly, a total steal! The state-of-the-art theatre itself was spacious and well-organised. A fantastic feature was the inclusion of three large screens, ensuring you could clearly see the actors' expressions even from the very back rows.nnThe performance itself was simply 'wow'. They had a whole live orchestra onsite, and the production seemed to include more action and small, engaging moments between the actors than the original version I've seen. They truly utilised this modern theatre space to its absolute best potential.nnThe only two 'downsides' for me were:n1. The chairs: Regardless of how you tried to sit, they were uncomfortable. There was very little back support, which genuinely detracted from the overall experience over the long running time.nn2. The portrayal of Javert: The actor had a heavenly voice, no doubt, but his depiction felt excessively resentful. This character is traditionally seen more as a lawful-evil figure driven by rigid principles, rather than someone who leans to chaotic-evil, if you get what I mean.
Fabulous venue came here to see Les Mis. Excellent show would advise highly great entertainment. Fabulous voices amazing sound and stage presence live Orchestra. It had everything.
What an amazing night, we love the ICC and the concert version of Les Miserable was incredible, seating was comfortable with no visible seats that had restrictions.nnLooking forward to the next concert.
