Stayed on Saturday 29/07. Good reception. Small issue with pricing from booking to checking in, but that could’ve been a Microsoft issue. Lovely service.nnEnjoyed the stay very much. Tried to get reception’s attention at midnight but no-one came when we rang the desk bell.nnBreakfast was good. Bacon & sausages were on the cool side. We’ll get there earlier next time. Had a great time with the toaster though. That was fun!!
Room was not clean. Bathroom was awkward, cramped, very dated and comes with threats of a $1500 find if steam from your shower sets off the smoke alarm.nRoom designed to accommodate two people only had seating for one.nOnly tap in the room apart from the shower is the bathroom sink, filling the kettle is tricky as it only just fits under the spout.nBathroom door frame is rusty. Wife tripped on the step exiting the bathroom. Bathroom is all plastic, feels like you’re on a cruise ship but without the views and exotic locations. Weird.
Budget accommodation located near where we needed to be. Hotel staff were great, friendly and efficient. The room was definitely budget. Very comfortable bed but the carpets were grubby and smelly. The weird bathroom is enclosed in a circular pod raised above the room level and is a 1980s flash back reminiscent of an airplane or train bathroom. I have never experienced this design before. The room was small which is typical of the Ibis brand. The entire complex is very dated and in need of a deep clean along with some much needed renovation.nAlso I should mention that the aircon was real rattler, very noisy and not very efficient.
The accommodation felt safe and well kept.nnThe room size is small we were in the triple single room but the beds comfortable.nnThe breakfast lovely and the staff friendly and kind.
Had my sister and I stay here for Taylor Swift weekend - both not from Sydney, and we had the best experience! Staff were extremely friendly, helpful and always available! We even had room service come and check on us to see if we needed anything. Vibes were high as most people staying were also there for Taylor Swift. They had an assortment of complimentary lollies and a table with water in the foyer, buffet breakfast in the morning. Was a great stay and a short walk to the train, making it easy to get to places - beds were also extremely comfy and clean!
