It's clear that the staff of the hotel really care about the guest experience.nMorning breakfast is phenomenal, as well as the accompanying lobby space.nThe rooms and beds were alright, the bathroom was a touch small.nHowever, I'd say this is above and beyond for a budget hotel.n8/10 would stay again
A nice property with cosy little rooms. My room had a great view of the harbor bridge. Staff were very friendly and helpful.nnLocated in a very convenient locality with easy and quick access to bus/trains.nnThey got a good continental breakfast spread also there, every morning, with nicely brewed coffee. Have many other cafes and dining options also nearby.nnGreat value for money. Had a great stay there.
I want to start by saying that this is a collection of experiences from multiple people. I went on a trip through my school and therefore many people were in our group. In my room, there was black mold in the bathroom. The water smelled odd and, when I brushed my teeth, I found that it hurt to ingest. There was a hole in the wall right next to the toilet. The shower leaked through the night. The scent of mildew was prevalent. The room across from us, the admin of the trip, had cockroaches and they heard mice in their walls. Another group had the vent cover fall from the ceiling. The entire group, which was spread out across the hotel, was that the sheets were itchy. The doors did not lock properly, both the hotel door and the bathroom door. Our assessment of the situation was that they were renovating from the bottom up. The lower floors seemed to be absolutely fine, but as you got higher up, they got worse. For reference, I was on the fifth floor. On the positive side, breakfast was alright. The muffins were the best part, but there were white chunks of something in the juices. The staff were fine, but we had to leave because of the suspicious conditions. My recommendation would be to wait until construction is finished to stay on floors above the second level and not drink the juice.
Such great value for money and amazing customer service from Noah and the team! My parents had just landed from a long flight, and upon arrival at the hotel we were accommodated immediately. When we got to the room, we were surprised we had enough space to move around, considering we were 3. We had a great view of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the city skyline which really made the stay extra special. We were also surprised that the extra single bed was really nicely built and it actually looked really cool. Beds were comfy and pillows were soft. We had such a good experience—would definitely recommend!
Great place with good value for money. The staff was very friendly and super helpful with a 24/7 reception office. Located in the middle of the city with walking distance to super markets, cafes etc. We stayed in a room with the harbor view and was lucky to view the fire works from the room on the vivid sydney opening night. Most of all I enjoyed the coffee with the right amount of sugar to my taste with the right size of a cup. I am still missing the coffee i had there...
