Absolutely appalling to see my son rejected from playing because of new shoe policy. We have played multiple times before with no issues. How rude for you to reject children from enjoying a sport for fun and health and fitness. What a way to alienate people from the sport
Always so hot inside and every time I ask they come up with a different excuse. Either the AC isn't working or it will automatically turn on at a certain degree, which never seems to happen during our weekly 2-hour sessions. We sweat so badly the sweat drips on the floor
Mixed feeling for coming to play at IBC.nnAlways busy with plenty of parking space.nnNot everyone can afford to buy a courts shoes especially for your kids trying to learn the sport.nnThe rules harsh, might push other to play else where.
They wouldn’t let you play without wearing their approved indoor sports shoes—which I get, every venue has its own rules.nBut last night, I saw a coach wearing Nike Dunk Lows and no one said a thing.nThat really pissed me off, especially since so many of us, myself included, were told we weren’t welcome unless we had the proper badminton shoes.
Staff stopped our badminton game after 10 minutes because we wore regular sports shoes not special badminton shoes. No warning when entering. They offered no rentals, just forced us to leave. Wasted our booking fee.
