I BUY USED CARS FOR CASH IN HRS

DONT TRUST THESE GUYS!!! I get quoted 150 for my commodore V6 and after a few hrs a different wrecking company arrive and say that these guys called them up saying they didn't want it. I get no notification and I have some guy telling me that if it was anymore than 60 they were going to drop my car and leave. Great way to get ripped off

So I put in a request for a quote on my car after having a previous quote in writing for $170 from another business. This guy emails me saying he tried to call and didn't get through and that I should call him back. I had no missed calls on my phone (but who knows maybe I gave the wrong number on the online form, though I doubt it). So I call the guy, he picks up and here is the exact dialogue: Me: Hi I'm L*******, I got an email from you saying to call you back about a car I'm trying to sell Him: What is it? Me: it's an Elantra '02 with about 160,000kms on it, not rego at the moment and needs a couple of minor repairs. It has 1yr old tyres on it though. Him: Where? (not "Where is it parked at the moment?" just "Where?") Me: in ********* suburb Him: uhhhh, I'll give you $50 for it. Me: Um, well I already have a quote in writing for $170 from someone else and another place offered... (interrupts me) Him: 170? *click* He hangs up on me mid sentence.... Yeah.... 1 star, don't use this guy. Total rip-off merchant.
