I am Thai Takeaway" is an authentic Thai Takeaway and Dine in located in Richmond Village Centre- 200 Richmond Road, Marleston in the City of Adelaide.

We bring a new concept in Thai food experience to Adelaide. Our food
is freshly prepared and cooked right in front of your eyes in our open
planned cooking theatre.

We are unapologetically Thai which means our food is 100% Thai, we
don't pretend to be something we are not.

Wholesome food just like mom’s cooking. A bit pricy but they taste really good so okay. Their dish is all tasty, on point! Their seafood salad is super delicious. Another great thing about I AM THAI is that they are Halal. Thank you for thinking of us Muslims, we now have a Thai place to go to. This place is good for families, as their dishes is made to share. Definitely coming back again.  Wheelchair accessibility: All flat no stairs

I always get takeaway from this restaurant, its very good. Red curry is excellent!Food: 5/5

The Tom yum is great from here or I usually get the drunken noodles I recommend with the seafood though the chicken is always weird from here it's like dry and I'm not sure of it's proper chicken like its a werid texture. The chicken wings though are amazing. Some of the food is bland but usually they are pretty good here but I do have to say it's really expensive here for the portion sizes and the dish like noodles shouldn't cost as much as they do here.

Good portion size and veggies were fresh however was not authentic Thai. We got stir fry chicken and veggies in oyster sauce which was pretty bland. We also ordered the Pad Thai noodles and they were horrible, we didn't eat them. Had a smokey taste as if the pan hadn't been cleaned at all. Also had the fried chicken which was probably the nicest out of all 3 meals however we won't be going back and definitely not for $38.

Always a good experience here. The food is great and don’t miss the Chef’s Specials on the menu. Food is fresh and fast. The team do a great job getting it out quickly.

Went here for lunch today - the service was quick and the food was delicious! I can definitely recommend the Pad See Ew. Will be coming here more regularly now.

More of a takeaway joint, has adequate seating for a family or two but that's it. Situated close to businesses, you will see lunchtime crowds waiting for takeaways and not much seat-in patrons. Seats lack backrest so if you're suffering from back pains, be prepared to sit straight. Food wise, pretty close to what you'll get to true Thai flavour but the heat obviously toned down to suit the western palate.  Staff speaks Thai and with Thai music playing in the background, adds to the authenticity and the atmosphere. My only wish is for the food to be more spicy as that's quintessentially Thailand.

Went to this restuarant expecting usual take a way slop....boy was i surprised! Fast service, freshness of ingredients staff working as a team. Prices were good and reasonable. Try the tom yum soup with coconut cream/milk very delicious. Only sad disappointment on the menu was chicken skewers very tasteless but apart from that a good experience. Limited parking and seating for about 12 people. Would i come here again? Try to stop me!! A definite unexpected jewel in thai cooking a 100% thumbs up in taste, quality and quantity. Go and taste good food
