I took a group of 30 people to the Hyden CRC in late September 2023 for a training camp for early career scientists. We used the CRC's conference room facilities for three days and the CRC also provided lunch and morning tea. The facilities were excellent, with a projector and smart whiteboard, ample power points, wifi and printing. I wouldn't have hoped for better facilities even in a big city. Sarah and her team were extremely helpful in accommodating us and made my life easy. The lunches were great, everyone was full of compliments and certainly no one was hungry! Without a facility like this in Hyden we would not have been able to run the camp there, and it exceeded expectations.
