Great staff members, friendly, accommodating. I loved the schnitzel I had there, it tasted like home made. There’s a pool table. It’s confortable. They have special venues for kid’s celebrations or catching up with friends. Easy to park in the surroundings.Food: 5/5
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Victoria Hotel Yarraville and was thoroughly impressed. Their steak sandwich is absolutely delicious, and the fish and chips are some of the best I’ve ever had. The flavors were spot on, and everything was cooked to perfection. If you’re looking for a great place to eat, I highly recommend giving Victoria Hotel Yarraville a go. You won’t be disappointed!
Visited last weekend with my family to check out the recently revamped hotel and it did not disappoint. Such a fantastic venue with great food and service, as well as a welcoming atmosphere and play adventure for the little ones. Both inside and outside have a variety of play options, lots of highchairs available, space to park a pram and baby change table available. The food and drinks were great, you can either order at the bar or use the QR code on the table. Plenty of parking out the back and untimed or street parking available. Would recommend booking a table as the new play space is very popular. They also have entertainment/events on and we were very lucky to receive a visit by the Easter Bunny himself and Alice with some goodies for the kids.
First visit, came for a birthday dinner on a Friday night. Peak time was about 630-730 and very busy. Multiple birthday parties happening. Lots of families with kids. Kids really enjoyed the play areas. There was an outdoor play area and an indoor soft play area more for smaller kids. Even on a cold night, the outdoor area was warm with shelter and heating. However, the play area is not fully covered and was a little bit wet from the rain. Kids didn't seem to mind. Food came out in dribs and drabs but was still ok for a busy night. Food was great. I had barramundi which was cooked perfectly but was still left a bit hungry. Friends ordered steak and parmas, which were decent sized. Couldn't fault the service. The staff were all lovely and accommodating. Parking was a bit challenging when we got there, however was able to move closer as people were leaving. Some parking space behind the restaurant with a back entrance. Handy when cold or wet. Overall great experience. We will be back. :
Maybe the best pub in Melbourne for families with small children? Visited on a busy Sunday lunchtime. My kids enjoyed free face painting, pony rides, the indoor soft-play area, and outdoor playground. The kids meals we chose a cheese burger and pasta were good but on the smaller side. The soft serve icecream bar is great. I enjoyed my grown up steak. The staff are friendly and efficient and we didn’t wait long for our meals even though it was very busy. There is truly nothing to fault about this place. The food portions were very generous, quality and taste absolutely and unequivocally on point and the staff were very accomodating. We were in a group of about 25-30 people including children, and all the food came out roughly at the same time with absolutely no compromise to the quality. I must admit, that was a solid effort by the kitchen staff. Apart from the depicted photos, we also had the kids sliders completely demolished by a kid who hates burgers with 2 thumbs up, the steak sandwich as well as the bruschetta. Crushed it, team!
All round fantastic venue with so many options. Whether you want to watch live sport, have a punt, play pool, have a quiet drink, let the kids play, dine in the restaurant or chill in the beer garden suitable for all weather conditions, the Vic has it all. The food is consistent and delicious, as well as being fairly priced. Highly recommend using The Pass app as well to make the most of your visits. Staff are always accommodating and friendly ever time we visit, which is regularly. Misha was a great staff host!
Had a great day with my boys at The Victoria Hotel Yarraville, food and service on Mothers day was exceptional even thought the place was full. Thanks to the staff for making mothers day such a great occasion.Food: 5/5
Food was good, kids meals ordered at the same time came out separately, two were cold. All mains we’re reasonably priced…Kids play area was pretty good for kids under 5, not policed very well by staff or parents for that matter as older kids early teens were play fighting in close proximity to kids under the age of 4 two of them being my own, my other concern is the back door leading from the play area is a push door not a pull too easy for a child to walk out and straight out to the car park also difficult to enter through that door with a pram would be better if the door was reverse and was a push from the other side instead… would visit again but probably not on a busy night. Parking: Estimate around 100 spots or less
