A nice and cozy place to hang out at the heart of Surfers Paradise. Cool atmosphere, uninterrupted beach view, friendly staff, prompt service, simple and yet delicious menu with contact-free QR ordering. This would’ve been a 5 star if they hadn’t forgotten my drink. Staff was apologetic, no dramas, and it was easily sorted. Thought it’d be nice to have sweet chilli and sour dream as a side on waffle fries.
Went in for a Saturday brunch. EVERYTHING was perfect! We had the best seat looking over the beach. Customer service was top notch! Hats off to Brook, she's looked after us so well when the restaurant was at full capacity. The food and cocktails included in the brunch menu were very tasty and prepared to perfection. LOVED the eggs benny hash.
Great view, average food. I was really disappointed with my dinner here - not only did my order get ‘missed’, leaving me waiting long after all my friends had finished their meals, but the Spiced Glazed Chicken was a real let down. Looking fabulous on the plate, I was really excited, but the whole dish was bland. Everything was under seasoned and i had to ask for salt and pepper. The chicken was dry and over cooked - there was no saving that unfortunately. Plus the ratio of veg to meat was way out for a main dish - the Veg was practically a garnish. The Nectarine pieces were not ripe so it was crunchy and bitter, compared to sweet and tangy. The whole thing just left me very disappointed. Not a dish worthy of the $40 price tag. Also, the staff, although plentiful and busy, didn’t wait tables as well as they could have. Delivering orders of drinks and food but never clearing any used items that ended up being in the way. Plus they didn’t check in and see if we had received everything, as I wasn’t the only one at our table still waiting for a meal long after the others had finished. So from me, they lose a star over food, and lose another for service. However, the venue was extremely well maintained and in a prime position. The music and atmosphere were great and the cocktails were delicious, fairly priced and came quickly.
Great place with ocean view. Perfect for weekend brunch when weather is nice. Serving size is big. Esp kids menu its almost big as the adult serving size. Food was okay. There are enough variety to try. You also get Free Parking at the hotel which is a plus. They do take accorplus
Delicious food, fantastic service. We decided to get a few dishes to share. Food was fresh and tasty. Ocean views, with attentive staff. Will definitely return next time visiting the Gold Coast.
Absolutely fantastic experience. Have dined here a number of times and always consistently a good experience. Lots of breakfast options and variety for kids and grown ups. The atmosphere was funky and although it was packed each time the food came in good time. Staff were also very friendly. Can’t wait to come back and dine again!!!
Great design of the bar and nice staff , however I came there to enjoy food and drinks . This place was on must-visit in my list. Unfortunately me and my friend left it -very disappointed. Food is very plain ,no salt or any flavours… had to ask waitress for the salt as we could not eat it without any seasoning . Also ordered watermelon mojito - the taste of it was disgusting , felt like we were drinking cheap fizzy cordial mixed with alcohol, we just had couple of sips , couldn’t finish it. Will not recommend to anyone.
Excellent service and delicious food.one of the best brunch I have had in goldcoast.Ambiance was good too.we got the best view and enjoyed it.will defeneatly visit again.
Appreciate that being able to holiday in covid 'normalcy' is a privilege and that there are many businesses that are finding it hard to find workers. Having said that, we stayed a week in surfers and dined at many places during our stay and this was by far the most understaffed place. Dined at hyde paradiso on a Tuesday brunch. Almost every table was occupied. Used the app to order probably saved us another 20 mins of wait time as there were only two floor staff. The app doesn't offer the full menu so just be aware of that when you order which means we still ended up having to do half the order via the staff. We waited 40 mins before our coffees arrived and our food arrived about 1.5 hours after we ordered. We observed many patrons who were there before us ask multiple times if their food was next/coming soon this should've been a warning sign and looking into the kitchen there was only two chefs head chef and sous chef - probably also another warning sign in hindsight Coffee was nice, pancakes were the fluffiest pancakes ever and was a very generous serve. I would go here again for the food but maybe not in the current environment.
