The first premier Adelaide's finest Indonesian restaurant since 1998. Merging with Malaysian Cuisine in 2016 to now Hut & Soul. We offer an inexpensive peek into the magic of the South East Asian cuisine with carefully selected popular dishes for your enjoyment. The soothing ambiance, aromas, serenity and impish sense of humour have made us a tourism draw card. We specialise in functions and offsite catering. Had dinner with friends there, overall experience was good. Staff were friendly, food and drinks were ok... but I have to say that we expected more than we had as this is the “SA Best Asian Restaurant” since 2017...
Surprisingly sensational food- better than Malaysia! Had the Beef Rendang and it was amazing! Best I’ve had and I have spent many years traveling through . They nailed the laksa- authentic and tasty. The Murtabak was perfect- thank you for a delicious dinner after we had to previously cancel because of sudden lockdown. Glad we came!
I’ve eaten here before, and it’s usually pretty good. However i ordered a vegan noodle dish that clearly had fish sauce and egg in it. My partners chicken meal was also very average, with overcooked rice. Disappointing for best asian restaurant in SA.
Adrian is excellent as a host. Great Singaporean/ Malaysian food to match. Highly recommended.
Nice looking fancy place. The roti was so good, so crispy. Flaming pork dish was not as expected, looked cool, but not a fan of the sour taste. Crumbed avocado was OK. Duck and fried chicken were delicious. Char kuey teow had bit of the 'wok hei' so was pretty good too
Delicious food. Very generous serves and very helpful and thoughtful service. Really appreciated it.
