We came around while it was pouring in Auckland, it was great at the falls. Handy distance for aucklanders, well designed and cared for car park and pic nic area. Ducks to entertain the little ones and the falls are beautiful. Decided to do the loop track in the lush native bush which was easy enough for a 4yo. Really recommend it

Absolutely beautiful location for a family picnic. The falls are very close so it was very accessible with my 2 year old son.

Needs extra care in driving to arrive alive. Plenty of car park spaces then 1 minute walk to the falls. Swimming allowed, might be best on summer. Clean toilets. Loop walks. Seen picnic tables and friendly ducks.

Lovey place. Beautiful view.  Began to think. ..nature and me are the one. Thanks God.

Enjoyed this beautiful place nearby Auckland. Its a 45min drive from the city and has quite scenic views. Easy to access the falls as well. Kids will love it for sure.

Even with full parking lot, there were very few people seen while hiking. Trails are well maintained and easy for even little legs to hike.  Easy hike to the falls and nice 3 hour loop too.
