My family and I travelled from Parkes to Orange JUST for Hungry Jacks, for the second time in 3 days to arrive and find it closed yet again. So this time we chose to drive all the way to Bathurst. We had our online order, the lovely girl working got our drinks which I took to the car and when I went back to get the food, the Manager Ben, had given my food to another gentleman who was rifling through the bag. The young girl explained to the manager that it was my food and the manager handed me the food and went back to bagging. I looked into the bag and found everything through the bag and opened. I called the manager back over and explained that man had touched it all, and I would like to have new food. The manager took just the burger and gave it to the kitchen which they just re-wrapped which made me so angry. I called the manager back over and explained I knew what he was doing and that I wanted a fresh burger made. The manager went back to ask them to remake it. I waited and he gave me back the food, I looked in as he had not filled up my onion rings or replaced them, when I asked about them he told me that they fell into the bottom of the bag. I looked and saw the 2 in the bottom and gave up and left. When we sat down to eat I looked at the onion rings and they had mould on them. I also didn't even get the sticky date pudding I ordered... What a whole joke tonight was.
Only received 1 hot chips, even that was only 2/3 full, didn't get the 2nd one... Didn't check - my bad, but shouldn't have to. Poor girl who served got told off for not knowing how to fill register paper. Burgers were poorly put together. Chicken was burnt I had the tropical chicken burger I was the only patron in the store, other staff were standing around chatting and drinking soft drinks.
I am severely disappointed in the general food quality of this store It was truly appalling for this hungry jacks to even consider what they served us as food. For example. As i ordered my first cheese burger the first was red flag was that arrived in a sodden paper wrap, instantly I was thrown off. However despite the moist paper my hunger overdid my initial disgust. I unraveled the paper and was met with an alright image of a so called cheese burger. Now with my hunger reaching a breaking point I took a splendidly large bite of the burger. Instantly my mouth was met with the most horrid taste imaginable, the smell flooded my noise and my tongue in pain from the horrid taste. Instantly salted water filled my eyes threatening to spill over the edge. The taste of 10 week old mustard mixed with barley cooked patty was to much, and not even the force of hunger could will me to take another bite. I tried to stomach it but it did work, instantly my body repelled the substance of this so called burger. Shaken. I was shaken. After those gurgling seconds that passed I then looked down at my mustard ridden hands and let out a Shriek of pure horror, my hands burst Into a tremble, my skin turning as pale as the page I’m writing on right now. This so called burger I was holding was absolutely appalling. The bun a dulling brown, freckled with sesame, sagging giving the impression it has been sitting in the back of their store for months. This…bun was the only thing that was hiding the sad excuse of a “patty”. This patty was barely cooked and covering the stench was 92mL of a dark orange mustard yes I did measuring I can provide photo evidence of the mustard if needed and just to top this experience off there was not a drop of cheese and I had a leaf lookin pickle placed in the corner of the burger which was barely distinguishable. It's safe to say I'm truly appalled If you wish to feed your hunger DO NOT GO HERE. It is not worth your mental health Rating: -3/10 Dietary restrictions: These cheese burgers have restricted my diet DEEPLY. I can't bare to even look at them again. I have 4 more in my car and I'm having a panic attack even trying to look at them. Cheese burger were my main source of protein and nutrients and now it's gone. I'm switching to mack Donald and ripping down my hungry jacks support flag.
Very small drive in area means anymore than 6 vehicles sees you blocking the underground carpark road with nowhere to go but wait. Is okay burgerwise. Large chips ordered were small to medium at best, and 3 burgers , 1 x chips and 1 x drink for $35 means HJs is no longer a cheap option.Food: 3/5
Went through the drive thru and they told me to download an app to order popcorn chicken, must be a bit too hard to press popcorn chicken on the register. Yeah thanks hungry jacks, I'll just go across the road to McDonald's.Food: 1/5
It's a Hungry Jack's. It was clean. Service was fast. The large kids playground is pretty good and keeps them occupied when needed.Food: 3/5
The food was good not so great Whilst chatting with my friend and eating the staff wanted to mop outside and increased the music volume drastically and wouldn't lower it. The entire outlet from entrance to car park to the restaurant inside is badly run-down compared to well maintained McDonald.
Food was cold and service was poor. Never going back here again. If I could give no stars I would’ve. You’re better off going to McDonald’s accords the road. Trust me. Stay away.
