The location are great, right front of the beach however its a Dirty place, too many staff yet the services are really bad. The girl who fry the chips just stand in front of fryer, like literally they cant do multitask. Found an ant fly in my sauce. Got an offer from shake and win but the girl who took the order didn't scan it properly hence ended up paying the normal price. Seriously the manager shall train the staff properly
Location is perfect right in the heart of surfers paradise. Beach is just 100m walk surrounded by high rise buildings. Cleanliness and hygiene is not so good. All the tables are very sticky. Internal movement is very clumsy and ambience is very dark which makes place suffocating. Food, staff and service is good. Take the food and eat in front of beach.
Dirty place, I expecting similar taste of burgers like everywhere else.. but burgers wasn't good as I expecting. Small serving of food. Staff was slow and inefficient.Food: 2/5
We just received 4 burger buns with absolutely nothing on them. We ticked nothing added and it arrived with absolutely nothing on them. As a director of a company myself I would never send this out as it would ring bells something went wrong with the order and I would call my client. We where charged $56.35 for 4 buns and 3 drinks... I called the manager of Surfers Paradise 'Emily' and she was extremely rude and unprofessional, she didn't even offer us a replacement over the counter as I offered to drive in. It's also false advertising as we were charged for burgers not for buns. Extremily dissatisfied!
I'm giving two stars because of the time of visit but 2 is still very generous. Ordering was a nightmare all machine were out of order. Staff were all young kids who clearly didn't not care about their jobs. They were rude, loud and just altogether hard to put up with. Then the food, rather than tell me they've run out of something they would just replaced it and I just had to put up with. Food was stone cold and taste like chemicals. Ended out throwing out my 2 burgers and chips, lucky had a drink with ice to wash it all away. Please if you read this don't go here, there is a McDonald's or GYG in the area with teams that actually care
Experience was poor, food was Luke warm and my order wasn’t correct. I had paid for one of the most expensive burgers on the menu and once I opened my bag it was a burger much cheaper worth a couple of dollars. It is not hard to get an order right, would not recommend!!
If I could give no stars I would, this place is a joke. Ordered off Uber eats, every single item of food we got was cold, it was if the patty’s hadn’t even been cooked as the cheese was not melted either, chips tasted soggy and undercooked, and the wait times were ridiculous over an hour and having two different Uber drivers cancel because of how long the store took to make my Uber order when Ubers are supposed to be prioritised, also called the store multiple times and no answer from anyone. Poorest service I’ve ever experienced will not be coming back here again.
Ordered off DoorDash from within Surfers, waited 55 minutes, went down to store, order was not even started. Three separate drivers cancelled. Then some burger flipper recons that he’s a tough guy stopped making burgers during the dinner rush to came up to me because he could hear my voice from the back deciding to escalate the situation. He thought I was a driver, but the driver was the guy standing next to me, I’m actually the customer who is now loyal to the Maccas literally opposite this HJ’s that will never see a cent more from me. Everybody worked Wednesday 12 April 2023 dinner rush should be ashamed of their lack of customer service abilities, and retrained. PS. Back area should stay back area for a reason. Get front area workers with better customer service skills. Check my reviews, I barely leave 1 stars. Disgusting.
Food was cold and stale, and the toilet was closed even though the restaraunt was still open , family couldn't wash their hands after the meal ..
Our favorite place for quick breakfast whenever we visit Gold coast. Plenty of memories here. Such a friendly crew ! 100% recommended!
