They have changed the design and layout inside this store. It seems smaller for in-house dining.nWaited 10 mins for my order of a grilled chicken burger medium meal. They call your name or number,put your order on the counter then turn their back. The service was so impersonal. Not a thanks very much,there you go see you later or anything.nYes they were busy, but some common courtesy please.nThe chicken burger has gotten smaller, but dearer,with little to no lettuce,and one slice of tomato.
If your after food that you can eat within 1hr don't go here.nI only ordered a large fried chicken mealnI pulled up at the drive through at 11:50am and finally got to the window to pay at 12:40 and was then told they were waiting on chicken to be cooked and to proceed to the waiting area. 10 mins later at 12:50 I ended up going in.nnNOT HAPPY!!!!!
Food is generally good, but sometimes I find the burgers don't have enough sauce and end up too dry to finish. It can also get extremely busy and you can be stuck in the drive thru for 30mins. I was also once threatened to get stabbed by another patron while waiting for my order, but that's Booval for you.
Absolutely terrible experience. Drive through was packed with only one side working. Decided to park and walk in to order thinking this would be quicker. Staff standing around, one on the phone. Took 20 minutes to get the order. Strawberry thickshake was prepared first and sat on the counter until order was complete. Needless to say, not a thickshake anymore. Worst Hungry Jacks in Queensland. Won’t be going back!!!
After years of being a loyal and patient customer this morning I have to draw the line. I cannot afford to spend 24mins waiting for simple breakfast items when there is only 4 cars in the drive through and not a single customer in store. This has happened multiple times. Even when you are the only car left they ask you to pull into waiting bay then forget you are there and have to walk into the shop and ask for the food you order. Have experienced many other people having to do this also. Wait times are just insane when not even busy, I will be going to another fast food place from here on, even if it is more expensive. I was really hoping the refurb might help them with organisation/wait times but nothing has changed.nnI always use the app and I seem to be getting an email/notification asking how my meal was before I even have my food.
