Attended Hugo Friday 13th Dec for a 6pm booking and was aware we had a hour and 45 minute booking. While the food was delicious, with my mate and I having the steak and our wives had pasta, but they didn't come out together. They where a little over 10 mins apart. The positive was they where able to handle my wife's allege of no garlic. In regards to service we all felt like we where over serviced with glasses and dishes removed as soon as you took your last mouthful. While we had plenty of time within our booking we felt pressured to leave with the constant asking if we wanted anything else. We end up only being there for 60 minutes and having to move on to another venue. So if your after a quick bite give it a go, if your after a longer dinner night maybe try somewhere else or try a 8pm booking it may be different. I would score it a 3.4
Hugo is one of the best restaurants I have been to in a long time. The pizza is a stand out the dough is so delicious. The 100 layer lasagne was very nice and interesting to. The lamb cutlets and mashed potato with veggies is delicious too. The service was fantastic ery attentive and friendly. There is a great vibe it's a busy restaurant with music and lots of people dining. I would highly recommend and can't wait to go back!!

I recently dined at Hugo and had an exceptional experience. The wood-fired pizzas were simply the best I've ever had—perfectly crispy crust with deliciously fresh toppings. The gnocchi was incredibly tender, and the pumpkin pasta was a standout with its rich, savory flavors. To top it all off, Hugo offers a fantastic selection of drinks that complemented the meal perfectly. The ambiance was inviting, and the service was top-notch. Highly recommend Hugo for an unforgettable dining experience!
The service was perfect, the best around without a doubt. However, when dining the food is always the most important. Bringing to a few issues, the pasta was overcooked to such a degree it was mushy and lacking in flavour. And the pizza base was very tough, even making ones jaw hurt when chewing. Perhaps this was just an off day based on various other reviews. But I speak the truth. Thanks for the experience.
