Have had a child less than a year at this school and it's more than evident that I certainly chose the right school. The principal Mrs Lisa Gough certainly doesn't sit behind "a closed door " She's more often than not out in the playground to meet and greet the kids as they arrive to school, The same after school. The standard of teaching/ education is second to none. Brilliant school absolutely nothing to fault
Very good School. All the teachers are very kind , helpful and always available for help if needed. They bring out the best in every child .
We have had a positive experience with Hughesdale P.S. Mr Tanner has created a community that students feel they belong to . He is approachable at all times both for parents and students . He makes a point of knowing the students by name. He is supported by a very dedicated team of professional teachers . They deliver the curriculum with professionalism and confidence . In our association over seven years with Hughesdale PS he has maintained a high standard of education . We wish Mr Tanner, teachers and the school community well .
A school where not everybody gets a fair go eg especially school performances & Aussie of the month. Same children chosen year after year. Aussie of month given to bullies, and children that like to exclude others. If you child flys under the radar they unfortunately miss out on being choosen for anything. Having said that some amazing young teachers mixed some that are long overdue to retire. Both my daughters attended HPS from prep to 6.
I would highly recommend Hughesdale Primary school and principal to all the teachers are very professional and very supportive.i have never seen a principle like mrs Lisa Gough, she is all over the school and involved every little thing.I’m going to miss this school and amazing staff in big time.we are moving to deferent area so I had to move my kids away from this beautiful school .there is nothing I can say bad about this beautiful school....
i was in this school when i was in year 3 2013 and had the best year of my life teacher were nice to me and also older students was but sadly i had leave :

Great school, been here since prep and about to graduate from year 6.
it's alright some teachers are kinda rude
