Seriously great authentic BBQ that combines high quality food with welcoming service in a super relaxed atmosphere. We had a group party here and it was perfect for just hanging out with friends. The owner Anton takes his craft seriously and it shows in the taste.
No fuss American style BBQ bistro at the back of the pub. Good quality meats and all the staff there were super chilled and friendly. Quite spacious so is family friendly.
Finally some decent Texas style barbecue that isn't way far out of the city! Good Texas style cantina vibe, nice semi-outdoor space, and delicious, moist brisket. Pork was good too but we found the lamb a little fatty. Also, no mac & cheese on the menu. Please add mac & cheese! We'll definitely be back.
Don't be fooled by the pub needing a facelift out front. The meat is fantastic and very well priced. If your looking for cheap beers and good food this is the place!
Food from Anton was great. Really well cooked and flavoursome. Brisket was on point and the sides were spot on. Highly recommend it for your next bbq fix.
Really good brisket and sides like CORNBREAD!!!! Which has proven to be very hard to find in Australia. The only complaint is I wish the sides were abit larger serving sizes.
Tasty Texan style bbq. Must try the brisket... Juicy and full of smoky flavour. Great house made bbq sauce. Mac n cheese really hits the spot too... Reasonably priced, large portions. Decent beer selection at the attached pub too.
We had the three meats and two sides plate - smoked BBQ meat was delicious and servings were generous. I highly recommend the pork ribs, fried pickles with blue cheese sauce, and mac and cheese. We'll be back for sure.
Nice place with nice staff. Little bit pricier than I'd like, but what isn't? Also the side of chips was a little undersized
