“I had a great experience at Hoyts Wetherill Park recently. The staff were friendly and very helpful, making the process of getting my movie tickets quick and hassle-free. I was also impressed with how clean and well-maintained the entire place was. It’s clear they take pride in providing a comfortable and welcoming environment for their guests. I’ll definitely be coming back for my next movie night!”
For $12 a drink, I was hoping one of the two ice machines would have been working. I also would have liked the drink area to not look and smell like a Wet and Wild water park, even though there were no less than 8 staff standing around not cleaning up the mess that had been there for clearly quite a while. I don’t like to complain but it’s not a great look and this is the second time we’ve visited and noticed the same thing…
This place has seriously gone downhill… Don’t even bother booking for Lux, the tall guy with the curly hair and moustache who was taking orders on Saturday night just stood at the front of the cinema and didn’t come by to the customers seated in their chairs. His service was extremely poor. Light switches don’t work. Payment machine wasn’t working. Had to buzz a couple of times about 30 mins into the film before my drink was even delivered to me… Lux used to be worth it, now it’s just a gag and a waste of money. Oh, and the disgusting smell of the cinema still haunts me days later. For all the money you’re charging, simply do better and train your staff better.
Cinema used to be state of the art. Seats are cracked and broken, the floor is dirty, popcorn shoved down the sides of the seats. Few staff and toilets are atrocious. Like many others, the stench of urine and rotting food is overwhelming. Smells like a filthy pub or hostel.nnStaff cleaning the cinema spilt drinks at the entrance, went to get a mop and took 20 minutes to clean it. Our option was to step over the spill, easy trip hazard! OHS Nightmare.nnLift your standards Wetherill Park, absolute disgrace. Think it’s worth sitting upright at Events!
Our afternoon watching Gladiator 2 is very nice. The movie is fantastic. The actor who play Maximus is very good. Will watch it again if there is Gladiator 3
