Although definitely a relic of its time the cinema was well and truly showing it’s 30+ year age, the service from staff was fantastic, the seats were comfortable, and although the screens were relatively small by modern standards, I’d have no hesitation returning to Hoyts at Penrith

Was fantastic taking the kids there, nearly died at the cost for  children and pensioners. The staff are extremely helpful and happy. The best part was my 5yo enjoying his paw patrol on the big screen :

Overall it's a good cinema - I've never had any trouble with staff, service or screenings and I've been coming here for a few years now. In saying that, it's still a HOTYS cinema so the tickets are expensive, the food/drink is overpriced and the seats are in desperate need of replacement. But honestly that's kind of part of the cinema experience so it's not too much of a bother, and not to mention it's in a Westfields, just get food and go to the bathroom elsewhere. I do wish it had a better Xtreme screen though... But anyway most of the issues are an issue with the HOYTS chain and not really reflective of the Penrith staff and store itself sooo it's all good here

This place needs to be demolished and replaced. Dirty, smells and is just not a good place. I’d rather travel to Blacktown or castle towers to watch a movie then come here. And Penrith is my local cinema. Desperately needs an upgrade.
