We visited Howitt Park for the farmers market event because we noticed it as we pass by. It was quite special as the most of the crafts and produce were truly made by the people who sold them. That is something we miss from many other markets. We bought plants, honey, produce and some crochet.
We stop here on our way too and from Melbourne the disabled parking is next to the toilets which have always been clean and tidy. We like too relax at the BBQ tables here and have tea and a sandwich. We also have eaten in town when we have time and found the service and food good at the Asian restaurants.
Good park with lots of wheelchair friendly access. Note that it's very hilly and doesn't have the all ability access that is across the road in the all ability playground. However the slide is good fun. Dogs allowed on leash only. Water isn't safe for drinking. Overall a good place to stop if travelling long distances
This is one of the best playgrounds I've been to in a while, the massive yellow slippery slide was great, it had a flying fox, both big and small and also all the regular playground stuff. There are toilets there which were quite clean.
Nice park with play area for kids by a creek. Play area has swings, bbq, zip line and an amazing tunnel shaped slide.
